What To Expect

Hato Caves

The cave of the Amerindian Arawak's and Caiquetio Indians, who lived around this area, and left behind the petroglyphs, estimated at least 1,500 years old. The cave is officially protected by the state as of 1967. You will have a 1 hour cave tour with a knowledgeable guide, who will give all information on the history and cultural significance of the cave.

Great tour with variety of experiences. Cave was interesting, wonderful viewing of wild flamingos in lagoon, and 2 hours of beach time at good snorkeling area.

Titi was a great guide. This was an easy day, and we had a great time. The caves are about 50 steps up and quite hot, so be prepared.
