Wat Plai Laem

5.00Yai was our incredible, hilarious, and extremely knowledgeable guide. We didn’t expect to learn (and laugh) as much as we did as we visited the different points on the tour! We felt this tour offered the perfect blend of culture and nature. Make sure to bring a bathing suit if you wish to swim at the waterfalls and money for shops along the way. Lastly, Suwat, our driver, was extremely punctual and we felt safe in the van. So glad we did this tour! Khap kun ka!

2.00The reviews don't reflect the experience that I had. I had an assistant guide who could not who could not understand my English - and I have been told that I speak very clearly - and I could not understand hers. When I complained they told me that she had been supervised, though that was only the case for part of the tour. I had booked the tour on the basis of the reviews. In fact it would have been a lot easier for me to just book through my hotel. It took a lot of work to arrange transportation to my hotel, which was not on the pickup list of hotels, because I wanted this specific tour. Next time I'll book through the hotel.

5.00Took the 1/2 day Koh Samui tour today with guide Yai and driver Pir. Super tour, super guide and driver. It took a little longer than advertised - about 5 1/2 hours - but well worth it. It was great that Yai spoke Russian as well as English, since several participants were Russian speaking. The only slight negative was the lunch at the Elephant Sanctuary. That was rather sparse - but that was maybe because the two Germans at our table had snaffle most of the food before we arrived.

5.00Very nice, driver was excellent tour was interesting, not boring at all Yai was so nice Atmosphere was very nice, nothing felt forced. Everything was quick, didn’t have to wait long for anything or anyone, but also gave us time to explore on our own Also included refreshing fruit break, and the elephands weren’t held hostage

5.00Our half-day tour was excellent and we were very satisfied. The price was very fair and there was no sales program at all, which we really appreciated. It was especially important to us that there was no elephant riding or any kind of animal exploitation. We received a lot of interesting information throughout the tour. Yai and our driver Krab were extremely friendly and attentive, always providing explanations, jokes, and refreshing drinks. Highly recommended.
