We’ll take you to the original film locations and put YOU in the scene while narrating humorous and intriguing tales from the time of filming. Join us for your personalised journey through the real Middle Earth.

Our scenic Half Day Tour includes visiting Skippers Canyon Lookout (weather permitting), Arrowtown, The Gibbston Valley and Lake Hayes.

You will be able to enjoy Lord Of The Rings locations such as The Ford of Bruinen, The Gladden Fields, The Pillars of the Kings and More!

This tour includes Morning or Afternoon Tea and Snacks, Photos with Authentic Props as we have the largest selection of Authentic Licensed replica props!

We also have copies of the original scripts and production call sheets, adding so much more depth to your Middle Earth experience!

Travel time between locations was included on the total tour duration.

Not recommended for travelers who cannot walk more than 10mins on uneven ground. There is 1 walk where people unable to walk may have to wait for up to 20 mins.

Shane was incredible! 10 out of 10. Shane customized for the experience for the group and made sure everyone had a good time, regardless of their level of Lord of the rings knowledge. As a nerd, I loved it and the non-nerds loved it too. Picture opportunities were amazing and the breaks were perfectly timed and made the experience that much better.

Amazing tour of some of the most iconic scenes from LOTR. Shane was bery informative and went above and beyond giving us a wonderful experience. Definitely would recommend the tour not only to fans of LOTR but also individuals looking to see some fantastic scenery around QT!

The tour was great - beautiful scenery and our tour guide Annie did a great job explaining the sites and giving us a LOTR experience by helping with photos. A lot of great information about the movie, sets, production - if you haven’t seen the movies it is still a great experience.
Great sights to see even if you are not a Lord of the Rings fan! Good QT sights and information.

If you are not an avid Lord of the Rings fan this tour still has good value. It was fun, interesting, and took us to some beautiful places that we would not have otherwise enjoyed. Annie was our guide and really enjoyed telling about the Lord of the Rings. She made the tour fun even though we were not knowledgeable fans.
