Excellent, fun and informative. If you are a LOTR fan you will get to stand at the places where the film was shot. The scenery is stunning. Our guide was relaxed and knowledgeable. This is a great way to see some places that might be out of reach for the average visitor.

Finley ( I’m pretty sure it was with an e not an a) was a great guide , relaxed , knowledgeable and funny . We had a cracking time and even the non LOR nerd enjoyed the day . Highly recommended: gold pannning , River off roading , Skippers canyon , Arrowtown ( briefly) , plenty going on . Thanks !

Thanks to Benjamin, this visit was amazing. I could almost hear the soundtrack of LOTR during the visit. A must if you are a fan of LOTR and spend a moment in Queenstown

My husband and I came out to Queenstown as part of our honeymoon trip, our love of LOTR had us book this tour and Dan was awesome! A very knowledgeable guide, the tea and banana bread was delightful to warm us up after a cold river panning. He even took us to Arrowtown to show us the largest gold nugget found on the Moonlight River. You’re in great hands if Dan is your guide!

Benjaminvan Nomads tours is a perfect guide. He'll take you places you can't go otherwise. What a great experience to explore the beautiful surroundings of Queenstown with a 4x4. Also the gold digging is a nice experience this tour is definitely worth its money.

A safe, exhilarating and fun mainly off road trip. Our driver and guide, Del drove us through the Arrow river. We bumped our way up the mountain tracks to spectacular views all around. We watched bungy jumping and even tried our hand at panning for gold in the Arrow river. We were offered delicious coffee served from flasks and homemade carrot cakes and biscuits. A thoroughly entertaining and highly recommended adventure!
