Very nice activity, long tail boat to start through the mangrove, small stop on a very small island with swimming then kayaking around islands and visited a cave. A lot of macaques on the beach and on the boat back a female got on the boat and everyone was able to feed her. Bottle of water and bananas on the boat. Guides take the time, there are very few people, it is not a tourist factory.

With my daughter we had a longtail boat just for us, it was great. I would do the excursion again without hesitation

We had the most quiet boating experience. The place looked deserted barring another boat like ours in the entire mangrove. Marshy lands and boating, had a relaxing time. We took pictures of monkeys and sailing in the narrow streams. Only we were hoping to watch more animals and birds . Due to the rains we couldn’t enjoy a morning boating and missed out on it.

Our guide was very knoelegeable about the mangrove flora and fauna and told us about it. He was entertaining and funny. We went in small canals with the kayaks and visited a monkey family.

We were traveling by boat. Apart from the monkeys waiting for the boats in one place, we haven't seen much further. As an excursion with children fine.

Did what it promised. The guide's English skills have been replaced with extreme friendliness. Despite the language barrier helpful hints about the local flora. We felt safe and loved the experience around the mangrove forest, the monkeys, kayaking. Keep what it promises! Definitely recommended for anyone who wants to explore the mangrove forests on Koh Lanta. The only real shortcoming: some of the services originally promised, such as waterproof bags for valuables provided, had to be purchased locally.

A no go for me was the feeding of monkeys by the tour guide! Otherwise, the mangroves themselves are of course absolutely worth seeing and we saw mudsliders and a Varan. Our time on the kayak was about 1.5 h, but unfortunately we were only on the big arm and one side arm and had to hurry quite fast. Afterwards we went to a small restaurant where fruit and water were served and fish were fed. Unsatisfactory was that neither life jackets nor dry bags were included in the tour and the guide did not know what we wanted. The kayaks themselves are unfortunately dirty due to the oily water, you should wear dark clothes to not mess up anything.

A disappointing tour. The kayaking took about 90 mins with a guide that spoke no English and must have been about 10 years old! The full trip, however, took well over 4 hrs because of endless waiting around for various groups to assemble and total lack of organisation. The one wildlife attraction of the tour was finding some monkeys, only to discover that the guides feed them deliberately (chocolate bars! Must do a lot of damage to the animals), so the monkeys are always in that one spot. Note, some water and a few slices of fruit are provided at the end but none in advance, so bring your own water - you’ll need it in the baking sun.

Myself & daughter had the most amazing day kayaking through the mangroves. Our guide was amazing. He did his best to tell us stuff in English & show us the mud skippers crabs spitting fish. By far our best so far. Thank you.
