This was the highlight of our trip to New Zealand. Incredible views from the chopper. If you like mountains, book this trip, you won’t be disappointed. .

Well run operation. The fly/cruise/fly tour by helicopter to Milford Sound is a must do. The scenery on the flight is spectacular and the cruise on Milford Sound is so scenic with steep canyon walls and lots of waterfalls. The staff were always smiling, genuinely love their jobs, and make every effort to assure each and every guest has a fun and memorable experience. Kurt was our pilot and he was informative along the way and did a great job keeping the ride comfortable. I’ll be back the next time I visit Queenstown!

WOW what an awesome trip. Jeremy our pilot was fantastic, informative and very personable. Seeing Milford Sound from both perspectives - air and water was magnificent. The total service from this company is top notch and worth every cent. Well done guys and we leave with life time memories.

Glacier Southern Lakes is a premier operator/experience. The helicopter ride. Stop on a glacier after a fresh snow, flight into Milford sound and the following cruise was all made for a 5 star day. We had the benefit of beautiful sunny weather, which can be rare.

The best experience of our entire holiday. Flying with Glacier Southern Lakes Helicopters. Blown away. Couldn’t ask for anything better. Michael and Luke were the nicest people and looked after us. The helicopter was pure luxury. Stopping on top of a glacier in snow was amazing. The scenery is unexplainable. Thanks so much for a safe and breathtaking tour.

Perfect amount of time and variability. Flew to Milford above the clouds, cruise in sunshine, back in sunshine and spectacular how we were able to land on glacier.

Our pilot was extremely gentle but showed us all what was on offer there and back. He pointed out interesting and spectacular features of the trip. Offering information as we went. And throwing in a few sneaky adrenaline rush’s. So much fun and amazing views. Got to see wild goats on the way back. Flew close but not too close to the mountains. Was very mindful of a nervous passenger. Could not recommend this company highly enough, from pick up on the bus to flying to getting us to the cruise on time and flying us back. So safe, leaving a once in a lifetime experience in our minds. Awesome company and experience

Our experience with Glacier Southern Lakes Helicopters was simply amazing. We were lucky to fly with Andrew, a very experienced pilot who made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire journey. We had originally planned a long drive from Queenstown to Milford Sound, but thanks to this last-minute option, we were able to enjoy a helicopter flight that saved us both time and energy. The tour included a cruise through Milford Sound, where we were blown away by the stunning fjords, captured incredible photos, and even spotted dolphins and a sea lion. Although the day was a bit cloudy, the beauty of the place and the warmth of the team made it an unforgettable experience. On the way back, we had the chance to land on a snowy mountain, which left us speechless with its breathtaking views. And to top it all off, Andrew and the team gifted us a photo with the helicopter in the snow. It was a beautiful gesture that made the moment even more special. We left feeling truly happy.

This was truly one of the most incredible experiences we’ve ever had! We flew over snow-covered mountain peaks, landed on a glacier, cruised through Milford Sound, and spotted dolphins, penguins, and seals. An unforgettable adventure from start to finish!
