I would not consider this a tour. It was a taxi driver who picks you up and takes you to Olympia. It would be cheaper to just get a taxi at the port. If you want a true tour book elsewhere.

This was an amazing tour, very tailored to our interests and needs! Andreas showed us beautiful flowers & other vegetation, and olive trees in bloom. We went to the top of a monastery, with gorgeous views, and an incredible quiet peacefulness. We had an overview of the Olympic grounds, and Andreas provided interesting historical information. We had a tour of an olive mill, with tastings, and I even had some of the flavored oils shipped home! We were hurrying to get back to our ship, but Andreas knew where to get grilled sardines (a Greek speciality) and salads to go. He delivered us back in perfect time! This tour was a highlight of our entire trip...I can't recommend Taxi Katakolo highly enough!!!

This was my favorite tour of our cruise. Marilena was a fantastic guide and spent her birthday with us! She gave us plenty of time at the site of the first Olympics, took us to an Olive Mill (which was incredible) and then to a private beach that was the perfect ending. Her communication and service was exceptional.

Enjoyed the itinerary. Archeological site much more interesting than expected. Enjoyed Honey Farm and a lunch break. We did an extra stop at Olive Oil Mill. Day we'll spent. Driver friendly and knowledgeable

We had a fantastic trip! We booked a private tour directly with Andreas. He was easy to communicate with and very responsive. I booked a few months in advance and stayed in contact prior to our trip. He even called me direct the day before to keep me informed. He met us as we disembarked with a sign, so we found him easily! His wife was our driver, and his son was our tour guide. They were both a joy to be around and instantly made us feel welcome and at ease. His son spoke very, very good English (which was a blessing as the rest of us could not speak Greek) and narrated our entire trip. We learned a lot about the region and culture from him. A bonus was he wore a headset to make sure the 2 in the rear seat of the van could hear him clearly, this was the only tour guide/driver that offered that service and it was so very appreciated! It was overcast and they even provided umbrellas, which was so unexpected! They came in hand during our tour of the Archeological Site. Because we beat the buses to the site we were able to get through quicker than most and he made several suggestions on what else we might do to fill our day. I would most definitely recommend this company! A private driver is the only way to go, especially if you are on a cruise and have very limited time in port. Contact him, you will not be disappointed!!

Such a genuinely caring TAXI operator, with a luxurious quiet 35 minute ride. All the way, Demetra was doing an amazing job of sharing her local knowledge of the culture and our pending visit to the ancient Olympia ruins and stunning museum collection, all by using a translation app. Was enjoyable to hear the native tongue before hearing it back in a British female voice. She was so kind to take us into the locals only street cafe for lattes and fresh orange-rind pound cake. Demetra was like family by the time we completed our four-hour personal travel. The BEST 👌

Dimitra provided a truly 5-star experience during our day in Olympia, treating us like family from the moment we met! She was incredibly thoughtful, picking us up in a late-model car stocked with water, and since it started to rain, she was fully prepared with umbrellas. Even though she speaks limited English, she used Google Translate perfectly to guide us through our shopping, dinner, and olive oil mill visit. She even went above and beyond by gifting us her own olive oil and letting us meet her two sons via video call. Her warmth and preparation made for an unforgettable trip—we couldn't recommend her more!

Myself and my husband booked this private tour and we cannot recommend it enough! We spoke with Andreas prior to pick up and then were met at the port by Khristos who was holding a sign with our name, we were first off the port beating all the coaches. We arrived at The Olympia museum and ruins beating the crowds of people, spent about an hour and a half there, he gave us a really informative book to take round with us as we didn’t get the guided tour, then Khristos took us into the centre of Olympia we were able to browse through shops and then had the most delicious Gyros, he then took us to his friends Olive Mill, we got to taste different olive oils and got a tour of the mill, he then took us back to the village next to the port so we could have a drink before going back to the ship, we cannot recommend more doing this private tour, Khristos was really friendly and he lives in Olympia himself so knew everything there was to know! Thankyou again, Meg & James
