What To Expect
Experience the 40km drive with us in our 4x4 to Pelican Point across the ocean's edge of the Namib Desert past protected wetlands with an abundance of birds like Flamingoes, Pelicans and Pied Avocets and some of the largest salt pans in the world. Here we start kayaking near the lighthouse and over to the seal colonies. Excellent bird viewing is available, delightful Seals, and often Bottlenose Dolphins come to play around your kayak.

5.00The tour guide is very experienced and knowledgeable. You will have a chance to closely get along with the seals in the sea which are very lively and naughty. And you can also see thousands of seals and flamingos near the beach.
Highly recommend kayaking with this team!

5.00What a wondeful morning out, if very smelly!!! Fantastic to be out on the water and get so close to the seals, spotted some dolphins and then treated to tea and cake :) Had a laugh when the driver said he would include a free " namibian massage" meaning the drive was going to be super rough! Team experienced and thoughtful, well executed from start to finish.

5.00I booked this trip as part of an Aida trip in the summer of 2025. Our guide Breadwin was great. Friendly, humorous and explained everything understandably. Arriving at the seals, we were 18 guests in total, a lot of importance was placed on safety. After the kayaking we had freshly topped rolls, sweet bits, coffee and tea. Price performance is mega. All around a perfectly organized excursion. There are no criticisms. Anytime again I would book a trip through TripAdvisor

5.00This is the most wonderful trip from Start to finish . It’s incredibly well organised and the guides are brilliant . Our guide Jennifer and driver Leon were fantastic . So knowledgable and really great fun and company . They provide you with all the gear to stop you getting wet and give you lovely sandwiches and drinks after coming of the water . The actual kayaking experience with the seals is a life memory I’ll never forget . Just magical . Highly highly recommend . Thanks once again to Jena and Leon , you are ace !

5.00A very nice family experience. The trip from Walvis Bay to the kayak spot allows the guide to comment on the wildlife and peculiarities of the area. Many photo stops (Flemish, Jackals...). And what about the time spent on the water among the dozens (hundreds?) of sea lions not at all fierce! They come to play with the paddles, dive under the kayaks, swim alongside you and it is pure happiness! Don't worry: waxed pants and jackets provide ample protection against splashes. You just have to plan for a fleece so cool in the morning. We recommend without reservation!
