Fun private snorkeling tour

5.00My husband and I had a wonderful half day snorkeling excursion this morning. We met our captain, Hector, and his sister, and headed towards the island of Palomino for some wonderful snorkeling. We saw coral reefs with many fish and a large turtle which we followed for some time. After snorkeling for about an hour we got back on the boat and headed closer to the island. We floated on a large float and ate delicious snacks provided. It was especially nice because it was private and you could basically choose how you wanted to spend your time on the boat. I highly recommend this tour!

5.00Hector was a great guide. He brought us to a reef area where we saw rays, sea turtles, remoras, sea urchins, and a wide variety of coral and fish. Then, when we got to the beach, he served us drinks and snacks while we floated in the water. Even though there were several other tours out there, we were the only ones with a provided lunch. I can’t imagine anyone more friendly and attentive. Book your tour for a once in a lifetime experience

5.00Absolutely amazing trip. Calm waters and beautiful snorkeling with sea turtles and colorful fish. Then we went to a beach for a chill time with refreshments and food. Hector is top notch. Everything went so smoothly!

5.00My family of 5 (ages,9,13,16) loved the half day tour! We were first timers for snorkeling and it was a little scary for my kids at first but they all got the hang of it and had an amazing experience. Gear was clean, worked well, and guides helped us adjust fins and masks. We saw lots of fun fish and sea turtles! We spent some time just following one turtle around. The boat ride out got a bit scary for my youngest but Hector was great about noticing our needs and helped us get to a spot on the boat that was more comfortable. My 13 year old loved every wave the boat hit and would’ve spent all day just free riding the ocean. If this will be your first time on a boat in the ocean, be prepared for adventure. If I ever come back we’ll be booking again for a full day. If you have teenagers, be brave, try this tour and leave the cell phones at home!

5.00We had a great time and a wonderful experience. Our family of six went on the afternoon half day kayak adventure with Hector. His boat had a capacity of six so that worked out great. Hector, and his wife as co-captain, we're very friendly and made the trip a lot of fun.

5.00Hector was very nice and he took us to two Islands—palomino was great for snorkeling and Icacos for walking around and enjoying the beaches. we saw a barracuda, sea turtles, manatees, and tons of tropical fish. What an amazing adventure! Recommend!

5.00My brother and sister-in-law, cousin, and I spent a delightful morning snorkeling and beaching. Hector the captain and Yazi his first mate were friendly and helpful. We saw beautiful coral reefs and turtles. Appetizers and charcuterie board on the beach was a wonderful ending to a beautiful day. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone who likes to swim snorkel and beach it!

5.00This is our third year using Pirate Snorkeling and it is always a thrill. Hector and his team are delightful and very knowledgeable about the reefs and marine life surrounding Fajardo. We have had breathtaking swims with rays, turtles, sharks, and the array of colorful fish. His boat is fully equipped with snorkeling gear, rafts, noodles, and delicious snacks to help you keep you going. We are a family of 11 with an 87 year old gramma who loves the water. Hector and his crew have gone the extra yard to accommodate us, providing special gear to help gramma get in and out of the boat, and this year he took her for a jet ski ride of a lifetime. Our adventures with Hector and his crew are always a highlight of our vacations in Puerto Rico. We highly recommend!
