A BOAT DAY offers private, customized boat charters for small groups of 1-6 passengers. Sit back and relax on the very comfortable, 24 foot Hurricane Deck Boat as you cruise the waterways with a Captain as your guide. Your boating adventure will get you up close to wild dolphins and take you to secluded barrier islands so you can go shelling on pristine beaches or swim in the Gulf of Mexico. Our private boat tours are perfect for family outings, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, bachelor(ette) parties, marriage proposals, romantic getaways, reunions, spreading ashes, or any other reason!

What To Expect
Your BOAT DAY starts with a safety briefing, then it's time to cast off! Your trip will typically take you north of Clearwater Beach to our beautiful barrier islands including Caladesi Island, Honeymoon Island and Three Rooker Sand Bar. Along the way it is very likely that we will see dolphins. We may also see manatees, sea turtles, rays, Ospreys, native birds or other local wildlife. As your BOAT DAY continues, it is common for guests to get off the boat and go swimming and snorkeling, or shelling and exploring on our beautiful islands. Afternoon and evening tours can include watching the sun set from the boat, over the Gulf of Mexico. All guests will enjoy a cooler with complimentary bottled water, Big Joe water floats and mesh shell bags.
Caladesi Island State Park
One of the few untouched islands along the Gulf Coast, Caladesi Island State Park is accessible only by boat, but is worth the extra effort.

5.00WOW! this was honestly the best boat day we’ve ever had. we have taken quite a few private boat tours as a family including one on the na’pali coast in hawaii, and I have to say hands down Captain Eric was by far the best captain we’ve had! he made the overall experience worth every penny. we felt extremely safe with our two young girls. he knew all the best spots to take us to and even went out of his way to make sure we saw dolphins- it was unbelievable. if you have a chance to book one of these tours definitely request Captain Eric- I truly cannot say enough good things. Definitely the highlight of our trip to Clearwater!

5.00The captain was very friendly, kind and knowledgeable. He knew his route well and took us to some great spots. We went island hopping where we swam in the sea, saw dolphins and picked some shells. He let us take our time at each place. + the boat is super comfortable to sit in. We had such a wonderful time. We highly recommend captain Will.

5.00I would highly recommend A Boat Day if you are looking for some fun on the ocean. The entire staff is very communicative from Cassie contacting you as soon as you book your trip, to Captan Michael tell us when he would arrive. Captan Michael made sure we were taken care of through the whole experience. My husband really wanted to see dolphins and Captan Michael made sure we did! He was very professional and friendly. I will be using them again soon as we loved the day out. Thank you A Boat Day!

5.00My husband and I were celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary and did the 6 hr excursion. Everything from our first phone call with Captain Randy, the text from Cassie to our day with Captain Eric everything was top notch. Captain Eric was exceptional, in his knowledge of the bay, the remote beaches/sandbars and gave us some amazing tips and ideas on other things we could do on our trip based off just a few things we had said while conversing. He really enjoys taking clients out and it really showed in his genuine interest in you and he went above and beyond to make our day special. We would definitely recommend A Boat Day and Captain Eric😊.
