Our private Half-Day or Full-Day Customized Walking Tour combines Hong Kong’s must-see sights with hidden gems, allowing for a relaxed pace and deeper exploration. Morning, afternoon, and evening start times are available.
Our ethos is ‘like-a-local’. This culturally immersive walking tour lets you explore Hong Kong on foot and by using the city’s excellent public transport system, just like a local. Along the way, you’ll learn about Hong Kong’s culture, customs, history, and everyday life. Feeling hungry? We’ll get you eating like a local too!
The 6-hour tour offers a comfortable half-day experience with time to see more areas without rushing. The 8-hour tour is ideal for travelers seeking a more in-depth experience, covering more neighborhoods, viewpoints, and local spots at an easy pace.
Your tour is fully private, flexible, and paced according to your interests and walking speed. Available in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin Chinese. All private guides are native speakers.

A moderate amount of walking is involved - please wear comfortable walking shoes
Tours will be delivered in English unless requested otherwise at the time of booking.
Tours are available in English, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese.
Please also inform us if you are travelling with children under 12 years of age.
All tours takes place as scheduled except under Red/Black storm warning or Typhoon #8 or above. For up to date weather information see the Hong Kong Observatory website.
CNY 2026: Please note that all bookings made for dates between February 16–21 are subject to a Chinese New Year (CNY) surcharge due to the holiday period in Hong Kong. This surcharge can be paid after booking via invoice. Our half-day private custom tour of Hong Kong lasts 5 hours. You can start your tour at any time from 8 am to 6 pm allowing you to book a day tour or a night tour. We will design a bespoke itinerary, based on your preferences, that ensures that you see the things that will interest you the most. We can combine some of the must see’s like Victoria Peak and riding the Star Ferry with something a little more off the beaten track to ensure that you see Hong Kong for what it really is; a city of contrasts where the metropolis sits side by side with national parkland, where the super-wealthy walk shoulder to shoulder with people living in poverty, it is a city where east truly does meet west like in no other. If you are a foodie but do not want to do our full food tour we can combine foodie elements into your tour, ensuring that you still get a wonderful mouthwatering taste of Hong Kong. If you would like to pick up some souvenirs en route we can show you our favourite markets. Or perhaps you have something specific which you would like to buy, let us know and we will make sure that you do not leave Hong Kong without it. Perhaps you are a budding photographer and would like to visit the most photogenic locations, we can do that too, just let us know!

5.00We went on a half day custom food tour with Mel, we tried all sorts of traditional foods found around Hong Kong. Along the way Mel explained many things such as Chinese medicine, what some of the dried foods were and how they were used the tour was quite informative. While it was a full half day of walking there were many breaks along the way I found the overall trip to be quite easy. The food was great!!!

5.00Our Lantau Island tour with Sinclair was the absolute highlight of our time in Hong Kong. As someone who is quite well-read on regional history, I was deeply impressed by Sinclair’s depth of knowledge and his ability to weave culture and local anecdotes into a seamless, engaging narrative. His fitness and genuine passion for the city are truly inspiring, and he extended such warmth to my family throughout the day. The itinerary was perfectly executed, from the Ngong Ping crystal cabin to the Big Buddha and the stilt houses of Tai O. We even had the rare luck of spotting a pink dolphin during our boat ride! Our driver, Elvis, was exceptionally punctual and calm, ensuring every transition was effortless despite the busy Saturday traffic. To top it off, Sinclair recommended a phenomenal local restaurant near our hotel that perfectly blended traditional flavors with a modern setting, which turned out to be a true hidden gem tourists would never find on their own. If you want a deeply informed, warm, and authentic orientation to Hong Kong, Sinclair is the guide to ask for.
