Taman Ayun Temple

The temple relic of the king of Mengwi which was built to worship the ancestors. This temple has the main temple, garden, pond that surrounds the temple area, gardens and several buildings that support the function of the temple itself. The Royal Temple or Pura Taman Ayun is located in the sub district Mengwi and is one of the historical relics of the Mengwi Kingdom which was built in the 17th century which has been preserved until now.

Tanah Lot is such a gem and well worth visiting when on Bali. Do make sure that you figure out the travel time beforehand from where you stay because the traffic is a complete jam mostly. We were lucky that our driver, mr Dedy, was a very knowledgeable man and also very educationa sol in his own way he told us a lot about everything which we are forever grateful for.

Nice excursion. Tanah Lot Temple is worth a visit while Bali Royal Temple is not necessarily worth a visit but that is only my opinion. Beautiful landscape. A word of advice, maybe give it more of a morning slot to try to avoid traffic jams.

Eddy was excelente tour guide , he take care of us all the time , we learn about the Balinese culture and all the similar conditions between our countries. We asked to leave us in a different point (mall) instead of the port and he record in their language the direction to take a taxi , this is an example of how he take care of us.

Taney lot and arung temples. Both different. Eddie was our tour guide and was very knowledgeable and interesting. Driver was excellent also.

Our tour with Edy was fabulous!! Edy was so good to answer our questions and teach us all about the places we visited and about life in Bali. He had umbrellas for us and water bottles ready for us in our seats. Very educational and fun! We highly recommend Edy as your tour guide! The Temples and grounds were beautiful and the chocolate factory tour was a delicious finish!
