Peggy's Cove Lighthouse
As you leave Halifax, you'll enjoy a scenic 1:30-hour drive along the beautiful coastline of St. Margaret's Bay, from the village of Hubbards to the iconic Peggy's Cove. After arriving in Peggy's Cove, you'll have an hour to visit the world's most popular lighthouse, explore the local fishing village, and even sample some local seafood if you like! Witness the power of the ocean as waves crash against the rugged and rocky coastline. Peggy's Cove will treat you to incredibly beautiful landscapes and leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.
Fairview Lawn Cemetery
As you leave Peggy's Cove and head back to Halifax (1:00 hr. approximate time), your next stop will be the Fairview Lawn Cemetery, where the remains of 121 Titanic victims are interred. The tragic loss of the RMS Titanic on April 15, 1912, was felt all over the world, including in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Due to Nova Scotia's close proximity to the Titanic's last known position, recovery ships from Halifax were dispatched to conduct the grizzly task of recovering those who perished. Halifax is home to the largest concentration of Titanic graves in the world. As you walk through the cemetery, you'll learn about the lives of those who were lost, the details surrounding the memorial, and the heartbreaking story of the unknown child of the Titanic.

First, I almost missed shuttle bus ACROSS the street because I wasn't aware, not with other buses, etc. Totally my bad, just a heads up. Driver was very patient. He was a very informative, new his stuff and especially his knowledge on the history of everything Titanic. The passengers, the crew, the little nuisances, their families, etc. I know it's a sad part of history, but he still made it fun, cuz there were fun facts. And Amber Cove was great as well. It is very rocky, so be careful. Enjoyed everything about it.

Our tour guide, Justine was very courteous and watched out for her passengers. She is an excellent historian on Halifax and neighbouring areas. The beauty of Peggy's cove during the day could only be more magnificent at 'sunset'. Indeed a Canadian treasure and we thank Nova Scotia for sharing this with its visitors. The occasion to visit the grave sites of victims of the Titanic tragedy in 2025 was an honour. The years and decades cannot diminish what brought them to their final resting place in Canada. It was a wonderful day full of beauty and remembrance. Merci, miigwetch to Justine for giving us great information and keeping us safe. Susan Maile, Toronto
