Peggy's Cove Lighthouse
As you leave Halifax, you'll enjoy a scenic 1:30-hour drive along the beautiful coastline of St. Margaret's Bay, from the village of Hubbards to the iconic Peggy's Cove. After arriving in Peggy's Cove, you'll have an hour to visit the world's most popular lighthouse, explore the local fishing village, and even sample some local seafood if you like! Witness the power of the ocean as waves crash against the rugged and rocky coastline. Peggy's Cove will treat you to incredibly beautiful landscapes and leave you with memories that will last a lifetime.
Fairview Lawn Cemetery
As you leave Peggy's Cove and head back to Halifax (1:00 hr. approximate time), your next stop will be the Fairview Lawn Cemetery, where the remains of 121 Titanic victims are interred. The tragic loss of the RMS Titanic on April 15, 1912, was felt all over the world, including in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Due to Nova Scotia's close proximity to the Titanic's last known position, recovery ships from Halifax were dispatched to conduct the grizzly task of recovering those who perished. Halifax is home to the largest concentration of Titanic graves in the world. As you walk through the cemetery, you'll learn about the lives of those who were lost, the details surrounding the memorial, and the heartbreaking story of the unknown child of the Titanic.

Absolutely loved this tour! Our guide was Carly, and she was excellent. She was friendly and knowledgeable - we couldn’t have asked for a better day. Our small group ended up only being 3 of us + Carly so we felt extra special. I would highly recommend this half day tour - perfect amount of time at both stops and we got to learn lots about Nova Scotia.

Doug, our driver, went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. He was a very safe driver, provided lots of great information, and even showed us a few local hot spots that weren't included on the tour. Including a delicious and quick meal recommendation! Doug made sure we got the most out of our short time in Halifax!

Wear comfortable shoes. Enjoyed our driver. He was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited. We had 14 people in our van, plus the driver/ it was a tight squeeze with 4 in the back.
