This experience offers the only direct tour from Bath to Stonehenge. The ride to Stonehenge takes just under one hour each way. We use luxury mini-coaches with large panoramic windows, air-conditioning and comfortable seats to ensure your journey is relaxing and enjoyable. Along the way, the driver/guide will point out all the sights from panoramic views of the Salisbury Plains to Celtic Hill Forts and Thatched Villages. On a clear day, you may even spot the famous Westbury White Horse – one of the Chalk Hill Carvings of Ancient Wessex.

What To Expect
Stonehenge
You will be at Stonehenge for a minimum of 2 hours. This is plenty of time to see Stonehenge properly and to enjoy the souvenir shop, café and exhibition hall at the Visitor Centre. The driver/guide will sort your tickets upon arrival and explain the layout of the site. Time at Stonehenge is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Audio guides are available in 10 different languages for use around the stones, these are free of charge but subject to availability.
Bratton White Horse
On a clear day we'll be able to see the Westbury White Horse, a chalk hill carving from the 1770s. Our route takes in panoramic views of the Salisbury Plain and the Avon Valley, and passes Cley Hill the iron age hill fort and burial mound.

5.00Fantastic tour. Exactly what I was looking for - a short half day trip to see one of the most iconic archeological sites in England.. Stonehenge! Dan was an informative and friendly guide with a great sense of humour , a wealth of knowledge of the area and it was easy to see he loved what he was doing. Wonderful afternoon and I would highly recommend.

5.00Dan was very knowledgeable about the landscape and I felt very safe in his van. Once we got there, we essentially had 2 hours to explore Stonehenge our selves, which I really enjoyed!! Also, I have celiac and the tomato soup was some of the best I have ever had in the café. Thank you!

5.00A stress free and informative trip to Stonehenge with Dan made the afternoon a great experience. Clear information upon booking, easy meeting place and punctual. Stonehenge itself was amazing but the bits of historical information shared by Dan during the trip was also great. Would highly recommend. Minibus tour so a small group which was perfect! £60pp which included Stonehenge entry was well priced if you want someone else yo take care of the transport so you can relax and enjoy the day! Thank you!

5.00This is my second visit to Stonehenge, my niece's first. We were staying in Bath and wanted to see Stonehenge without renting a vehicle and the Scarper Tours was a perfect solution. Our drive Dan pointed out some places of interest along the way, gave us helpful logistical advice for visiting Stonehenge, and allowed us plenty of time to explore. Would recommend this trip to others in Bath who want to visit Stonehenge.

5.00Fantastic trip to Stonehenge and back to Bath. Shuttle was prompt, clean, and we took a beautiful route. Got to see and learn about the Cotswalds and Salbury landscape on the way. Sally was knowledgeable and jovial. Once there, she got my ticket and explained what to do. I had plenty of time for the Stones, and the shop, plus the cafe, and still got back a bit early. Five stars! Highly recommend.
