This experience offers the only direct tour from Bath to Stonehenge. The ride to Stonehenge takes just under one hour each way. We use luxury mini-coaches with large panoramic windows, air-conditioning and comfortable seats to ensure your journey is relaxing and enjoyable. Along the way, the driver/guide will point out all the sights from panoramic views of the Salisbury Plains to Celtic Hill Forts and Thatched Villages. On a clear day, you may even spot the famous Westbury White Horse – one of the Chalk Hill Carvings of Ancient Wessex.

What To Expect
Stonehenge
You will be at Stonehenge for a minimum of 2 hours. This is plenty of time to see Stonehenge properly and to enjoy the souvenir shop, café and exhibition hall at the Visitor Centre. The driver/guide will sort your tickets upon arrival and explain the layout of the site. Time at Stonehenge is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Audio guides are available in 10 different languages for use around the stones, these are free of charge but subject to availability.
Bratton White Horse
On a clear day we'll be able to see the Westbury White Horse, a chalk hill carving from the 1770s. Our route takes in panoramic views of the Salisbury Plain and the Avon Valley, and passes Cley Hill the iron age hill fort and burial mound.

5.00It is convenient to book a trip, go directly to the website of the carrier and pay with a credit card. On the day of the event directly to the gathering point, the operator verified the identity of the name, with the 15-person bus departed. The driver along the road explained that after an hour we arrived at the stone line, and after two hours of easy play, the driver sent us back to Bass.

5.00Half a day tour to the Stonehenge was perfect lengthwise. The tour consists of the driver picking you up in central Bath, driving you along 15 or so other people in a small bus to Stonehenge while telling you a few fun facts along the way, and getting you tickets to Stonehenge. You are on your own for two hours at Stonehenge (but there is a fabulous free tour app that you can download and listen to on your phone). Then, the driver drives you back for an hour but just plays music along the way. We expected a little more narration from the tour at the location but the app made up for the human narration fabulously.
