This experience offers the only direct tour from Bath to Stonehenge. The ride to Stonehenge takes just under one hour each way. We use luxury mini-coaches with large panoramic windows, air-conditioning and comfortable seats to ensure your journey is relaxing and enjoyable. Along the way, the driver/guide will point out all the sights from panoramic views of the Salisbury Plains to Celtic Hill Forts and Thatched Villages. On a clear day, you may even spot the famous Westbury White Horse – one of the Chalk Hill Carvings of Ancient Wessex.

What To Expect
Stonehenge
You will be at Stonehenge for a minimum of 2 hours. This is plenty of time to see Stonehenge properly and to enjoy the souvenir shop, café and exhibition hall at the Visitor Centre. The driver/guide will sort your tickets upon arrival and explain the layout of the site. Time at Stonehenge is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Audio guides are available in 10 different languages for use around the stones, these are free of charge but subject to availability.
Bratton White Horse
On a clear day we'll be able to see the Westbury White Horse, a chalk hill carving from the 1770s. Our route takes in panoramic views of the Salisbury Plain and the Avon Valley, and passes Cley Hill the iron age hill fort and burial mound.

5.00The meeting point was easy to locate. Dan is a friendly, softly spoken , courteous driver with great knowledge of Bath and surrounding areas, pointing out landmarks and things of intetest , which he shared with the group on the bus along the way. The timings were accurate, Dan gave us all the outline of the days trip before we left Bath and reiterated it before we left the bus at Stonehenge. I would recommend this tour to anyone, it was thoroughly enjoyable and made better by having a great driver!

5.00Dan our driver was a careful driver, his commentary about Bath was really good. He was friendly, courteous and patient. He outlined what our tour would include and gave direction to the tour group as to timing of the day, how long we could spend at Stonehenge and meeting time to return to Bath.

5.00We loved everything about this tour! It was super easy and straightforward to book online and it was a very efficient, informative, and pleasant way to see Stonehenge without worrying about train tickets, shuttle times, or admissions tickets. Dan took care of it all for us. All we had to do was meet him at the bus and four hours later, we were back in Bath. The ride to Stonehenge was beautiful, and Dan provided some interesting information here and there along the way. We had two hours to explore Stonehenge and the visitor center, which our group of four agreed was the right amount of time. I would recommend this tour very highly to anyone looking for a half day trip from Bath to see Stonehenge.

5.00This was a great way to see Stonehenge. Our driver / guide, Richard, was knowledgeable and personable. In addition to telling us different facts, he passed around laminated images so we could easily see what he was describing. He also gave us great advice about how to approach our visit. Or 2 hours on site was the perfect amount of timing. Also, being part of a smaller group (16, I think) made the ride more comfortable than if we’d been on a huge bus.
