The tour operator DID NOT show up!

1.00Our tour operator didn't show up! We booked this tour with Viator and the tour operator did not show up! We waited before and after the meeting time at the instructed meeting point and no one showed up. We didn't get any cancellation notice and even got reminder emails the day before. It was very disappointing. We tried to contact the tour operator while we were waiting but no response. We contacted Viator right there and then but even they couldn't get hold of them. After all the disappointment, extra expense to uber to meeting point and the day wasted, we are still waiting for a refund as Viator needs us to provide documentation that we were waiting at the right spot. It is hard to understand that the onus of proving fault is now on us rather than getting explanation from the tour operator.
