Lady Knox Geyser

The Lady Knox Geyser, located in the Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland near Rotorua, New Zealand, is a natural hot spring geyser that erupts daily at 10:15 AM. Triggered by a surfactant introduced by park staff, its eruptions can reach heights of up to 10-20 meters, lasting for about an hour. The geyser was discovered in the early 20th century and named after Lady Constance Knox, the daughter of a former New Zealand governor.

The first stop on the tour was unnecessary, and would have preferred to stay longer at the mud pools.

Some really epic views of volcanic landscapes. Really enjoyable and the walk can be made easier or harder depending on your fitness. The one criticism I would have is that the digital voiceover for the commentary is a bit grating.

The provider deserves a medal! He did everything he could to make our tour enjoyable. Such pity that that some of the guests did thrir best to ruin it be being late for pickup snd two not arriving at all while we waited. This meant we missed time specific events. Dinesh deserves a medal.

Went there as a solo and there were other people there that was solo as well, so the group I was with we all chatted together and enjoyed our time as saw a lot of beautiful scenery. Dinesh our driver was a star, he had so many stories to tell and was really funny. He was very hospitable to me and the rest of group and made sure we had a good time but also for us to understand everything that’s going on and giving information out clearly. Would definitely recommend my friends to do this trip if they ever come down.
