Étienne was a great guide! We were able to discover beautiful places :-) however, we regret not being able to visit the fruit juice factory due to a small organizational issue and delay (for which Étienne is not responsible) the factory was closed upon our arrival. The cocktail and fruit juice tasting is done a bit too quickly, which is a bit of a shame. We did not visit the agricultural high school, which we also regretted, even though it was initially planned in the program. But this morning in a small group was a wonderful experience!

Etienne was a terrific guide full of information on the plants, history and traditions of the island. There’s always so much waiting when on a group tour but he made it delightful by filling in with terrific information.

A guide from this excursion on Wednesday, 05/13/26 at 8 AM, with kindness, humor, and an extraordinary knowledge of Polynesian culture. My wife, my two children, and I shared a moment of rare happiness, a suspended moment. The landscapes were breathtaking, the places visited were of exceptional beauty! A huge thank you for this unique moment of sharing, an outstanding guide, and a special mention for our two Quebecois companions on this adventure, with an accent as charming as their smiles!

If you want someone who is passionate about the island they live on and its history, then book this tour immediately. Every single stop was well-thought-out and she even took the most amazing pictures for each person. There was someone on our tour that really liked nature pictures and she made sure to stop and point out good places where he could get what he wanted. We were able to experience the culture and beauty of the island and she got us back to our ferry just in time. She even brought us gifts and snacks, including fruit from her garden and a perfume cold towel to help the heat.

Well rounded itinerary, with tour guide taking input from guests. I wish I could remember the guides native name but it was Steve in English. He was fantastic! He was knowledgeable about endemic plants and trees as well as history and current events on the island. And also must mention his driving skills to make some pretty rough terrain comfortable as possible. The views were memorable and the tour left me wanting to see more of this slice of paradise.

We had the best tour of this beautiful and magical island. Our guide Mr.Rui was exceptional. He was so passionate about his family, culture and island. He brought us to beautiful vistas and took the time to explain what we were seeing. I highly recommend this tour and if your lucky enough to have him as your guide he will not disappoint The island is so lush and the people are so warm and inviting
