We take care in pairing the most suitable horse to the rider’s skill level to ensure you have a comfortable ride guaranteed to leave you invigorated.

What To Expect
A little more time and energy is well spent on this half-day ride. Enjoy a half-day Horse Trail and Wine Tasting on horseback and a Michelle’s choice of Winery, in South Africa’s most celebrated Franschhoek wine valley. A unique way to explore the area, this adventurous trail takes you through the working farm and vineyards, climbing up into the mountainous area ending up at our spectacular viewpoint. From there we make our way back down for wine tasting at one of our acclaimed Wine Estates. One or two tastings can be arranged on this ride, but we do prefer to spend more time in the saddle however. We will contact you for your chosen preference before the ride. Our expert guides adjust the group’s pace according to your riding experience and skill, always considering horse and rider safety. The law prohibits the sale of alcohol to a minor (anyone under the age of 18 years). It is prohibited for minors to buy, attempt to buy or consume alcohol.

5.00Mind was blown! We enjoyed every bit of this tour! Horses were so tamed and easy. Wine was amazing! Weather was perfect! Chantal and another guy that had a unique name, they were the best guides we could ever ask for. We drove ourselves there so it was a tad difficult to understand where this was located but you’re going to love the warm welcome from the doggos when you arrive. 5 stars is not enough! I’d give a 10!

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed this afternoon. We are all novice riders but the horses are so gentle and easy to ride. The ride through the estate is beautiful. Michelle was fantastic so funny and down to earth, we felt like we were leaving life long friends when we left. The wine tasting was great we had 6 different wines to taste and more of the ones we liked. Michelle was really knowledgeable about the wines and of the estate. We much preferred this wine tasting than one of the other larger more well known estates, more personal and more wine!! Great afternoon would thoroughly recommend wine valley adventures.
