Enroute to this seaside village pass, you travel along the winding coastal highway of the Lighthouse Route to the tiny fishing village of Peggy’s Cove, it is little wonder it has been an inspiration for artists and an irresistible lure for budding and seasoned adventurers for generation after generation. The colorful houses and fishing shacks perched atop the solid stone rocky outcrop that overlooks the restless waters of the Atlantic exhibit the wear and tear of the ocean and its punishing storms. Yet they endure, much like the small population of approximately 32 people who are year-round residents.”

No transportation available to get to meeting point. Fiagram showed side by side with cruise. In reality it was a significant distance away.

Interesting trip but too many people there. Long lines for restaurant and not enough time allowed for us to eat and quick snacks were low for those that couldn't wait. Guide was delightful.

We wanted to go to Peggy's Cove, but all the other ship excursions allowed less than 30 minutes there. TripAdvisor gave us 75 minutes there. Wonderful experience not limited by the clock. The driver was good and the tour guide was better than excellent. Andy Smith was a terrific guide. Tom

Very nice experience in a typical Nova Scotia location with an experienced guide, cultivated in Nova Scotian history. To be redone and recommended.

The drive was informative, Our guide, Brett, was both knowledgeable and funny. Peggy's Cove itself was just okay. At first I was alarmed thinking that 1.5 hours wouldn't be enough time to see the shops and have lunch. Turned out to not be a problem. Other than a great photo op and a few very small shops, there wasn't much to it.
