What To Expect
Hanoi
Your guide will pick you up at the designated meeting point or your requested location in Hanoi using a modern, comfortable bus with spacious seats or a luxury limousine bus. Please be ready in the lobby at the scheduled time to ensure a smooth pickup.
Hạ Long Bay
We will travel on the highway connecting Hanoi to Halong, which is one of the most beautiful and modern highways in Vietnam. The journey takes approximately 3 hours, during which you will pass notable landmarks such as Vinh Tuy Bridge, Vinhome Ocean Park, Dinh Vu Bridge, and Haiphong Port. We will also have a short break of about 15-20 minutes during the trip.

5.00Hung our guide took such care of us making sure that we all were happy and gave us lots of great information. The chefs provide stunning meals that catered for our dietary needs and man what a awesome chef he was !! We had a epic time kyacking and going into the caves. Loved the evening happy hour with some awesome sounds and views.

A special thought for the guide Hung, who speaks very good French. He gave us a lot of information and was very helpful! I recommend ++ this cruise

4.00Overall, we had a really good experience on the Renea 3-day/2-night cruise in Bai Tu Long Bay. The smaller boat (12 cabins) made it feel more intimate, which we appreciated. Duc, our guide, was fantastic—energetic, friendly, and kept everything running smoothly. We booked a suite with a balcony, which made a big difference; the room would have felt quite tight without that extra space. While everything was clean and well-maintained, the boat and rooms do feel a bit dated. The meals were a highlight—impressive variety with many courses each sitting. Portions were very generous (almost too generous), but overall the food was fresh and tasty. Activities were a bit mixed. Kayaking was enjoyable, but the first beach stop was unfortunately quite polluted, with visible plastic and debris. It’s clear there are efforts to clean the bay, but there’s still a long way to go. The second beach was cleaner, though very crowded—so many kayaks arrived at once that it was difficult to even get ashore for a swim. Better scheduling or limiting numbers would really improve the experience. The visit to the fishing village was a nice, quieter moment—peaceful and informative. Overall, a solid experience with some standout moments, but also a few drawbacks. It’s on the pricier side, and given the crowds and commercial feel of the broader Halong Bay area, it’s probably a one-time visit for us.

5.00We participated as a family in a cruise on Bai Tu Long Bay in small group. Hung our Francophone guide accompanied us throughout these 2 days with a lot of humor and shared with us the history of the place and his knowledge of Bai tu long bay! We spent a very pleasant time away from the mass tourism of Ha Long Bay. Among other things kayaking, cooking classes, squid fishing. I highly recommend this cruise!

Available and very helpful. Transfers to and from our hotel in Hanoi included. Comfortable boat, magnificent views, tourism on a human scale. To choose with your eyes closed.

5.00I spent a wonderful time during this cruise with our guide Hung. The scenery was beautiful , we were warned that we would be cut off from the internet . But the activities offered , kayak , tai chi, cave tours , cooking classes filled our cruise . The staff was very attentive with delicious dishes. And our guide speaking both English and French or Vietnamese was very pleasant.
