• Amazing cruise in Bai Tu Long Bay

  An amazing cruise with Renea Cruises to the more quite parts in Ha Long Bay. Our tour guide Duc was the best, he was enthusiastic, happy, helpful and just amazing personality! The food on board was plentiful and very tasty, the activities were great (even though one cave is quite ruined by all visiting tourists), the rooms were fine. Overall a fantastic experience! Transport from an to Hanoi was also well organised.

  I was really looking forward to this experience but by no means expected how well we would be looked after on this trip. Our guide (Hung) kept us fully informed and was funny, chatty and engaging throughout the stay, and really cared about making sure we had a good time (also he spoke amazing English and French and a some German and made a real effort to connect with everyone). The boat was beautiful and charming having kept its original features/quirks at the same time as modernising the en suite bedrooms, dining room, and decks. Each of the meals was stunning! We had an 8 course lunch and dinner on the first day made with fish/shellfish incl crab, calamari, oysters and prawns that are brought to the boat directly by the Ha Long fishermen. You wouldn't do better in a class fish restaurant. The itinerary was fun including a full on kayak into grotto and a cove with a beach, plus fun activities especially for kids like spring roll makong, and there was plenty of time to enjoy the boat with cocktails and local beer and wine. Also do not worry that this is to Bai Tu Long - its absolutely a positive, you sail from Ha Long Bay through all of the karst islands into an area that looks the same but way more peaceful and non-resorty.   Had such a wonderful time at Halong Bay on this trip. Have been once before but this was so well organised and our fantastic host Hung had us laughing all day. The pick up was smooth and we were able to take in the phenomenal backdrop of one of my favourite places with plenty of time, fantastic kayaking and then a gorgeous dinner. Weather was beautiful, food was incredible! Cannot fault the hospitality and service! The rooms are well equipped and it felt amazing to come back and have such a luxury experience in a quieter less touristy area than my previous experience which was more basic. This was also a friendly and safe environment for LGBTQ+ people which made us feel so welcome and comfortable during our stay. Already wanting to come back :)

  Great little trip along the beautiful bay. Our guide Hūng was very nice, patient and full of humor. The activities were flexible, we could explore the bay by ourselves in the kayak and were not stuck with the pace of the group. He also took the time to explain everything in English despite being the only two English speaking people on the boat. We enjoyed the stories about the bay, the food and the locals.

  We had a fantastic cruise! Everything was great: room, food, activities, crew and boat. Our guide, Hung Duc Tran (Hero) was excellent. Great English, very knowledgable, master of many activities! They also provided our transport from Tam Coc and afterward to Hanoi and coordinated our movement through the boat terminal, which was all very helpful.

  Our 3-day, 2-night cruise through Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The itinerary struck a perfect balance between adventure, relaxation, and cultural exploration, all set against some of the most breathtaking scenery in Vietnam. For the first half of the trip, we were guided by Cong, who was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everything ran smoothly. On Day 1, we kicked things off with kayaking through the stunning limestone karsts, followed by a visit to a secluded beach where we could swim, relax, and soak in the peaceful surroundings. It felt like our own private paradise. Day 2 started with a morning kayak to explore a cave, which was a highlight—quiet, atmospheric, and truly beautiful. In the afternoon, we visited a floating village and pearl farm, which gave us a fascinating glimpse into local life on the water. After returning to the ship, we were introduced to our new guide, Duc, who was just as welcoming and attentive. Later that day, we had another chance to kayak, but opted instead to swim and unwind at another lovely beach—no regrets there! On Day 3, we wrapped up the journey with a final cave visit, which was a great way to end the trip on a high note. The food throughout the cruise was also fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and varied, with plenty of options to suit different tastes. Each meal felt like a highlight in its own right and added to the overall enjoyment of the trip.   Really beautiful trip to Ha Ling Bay and Hai Tu Long Bay. The food was excellent with some options without seafood. Our guide (Vic) was fun and always available. We learned so many things, from how to make flowers from vegetables to Vietnamese Tai Chi. 100% recommended.
