Join us in a full day's tour to Hamlet's Castle, where we travel up the coast road, Strandvejen and arrive in the charming old town of Helsingør, known as Elsinor in English.
After our visit to Elsinor, we sail across the Øresund to Sweden and travel along the Swedish country roads to the ancient City of Lund, where you can visit Lund Cathedral, which was completed in the year 1145. Behind the cathedral you can explore the tiny streets, with houses dating back to the 1700s. It's like stepping back into history!
Afterwards we travel to Malmö, Sweden's third largest city, where you will have a chance to do some shopping and take advantage of Sweden's lower purchase taxes, which means there are some very nice prices!
Finally we return to Copenhagen across the impressive Øresund Bridge.

5.00Hotel pickup was extremely convenient, but they did say 9:30 and started calling at 9:05 (we are out front). I had my passport (we are going to another country) but say that in the listing so people aren't running back to their rooms for them. If you want to start earlier, just say so. It is a LONG day and at each stop you only get about 90 min. So when the driver hands you a map with what is at the next stop, pick and choose carefully and keep moving! It was also a holiday on the Sweden side so many things were closed. BUT, that's less tourists and traffic which was good. Stein the driver knows a LOT and his input between the recordings on the bus was valuable. I'd recommend this trip if you want to pack a lot of things in a little time. Wear comfortable shoes: there is a lot of walking.

5.00Steen was our tour guide and he was great! He was upbeat, gave us lots of information, and snuck in a few extras. We were able to visit the castle and had enough time to go inside. The ferry and bridge crossing were both great. The time spent in Sweden was enough to see a few things and say we’ve been there.
