Per FAA Regulations, original government issued photo ID such as a REAL-ID compliant driver's license or a valid passport is required for all travelers over the age of 18. Photocopies or digital IDs are not accepted. Any guest arriving without original, government-issued identification will be denied check-in, and no refunds will be issued for any guest in the reservation.
Helicopter seating is based on legal weight & balance limits and will be assigned after check-in. Maverick Helicopters does not guarantee seating next to or in the same row of the rest of the party.”
Closed-toed shoes are highly recommended for anyone landing as the ground can be uneven and wet.

What To Expect
Your Hana Rainforest adventure begins after check-in at the Kahalui airport where you'll meet your pilot and board your ECO-130 helicopter.
Hana Highway - Road to Hana
As you fly along Maui’s North Coast, you'll enjoy views of breathtaking sea cliffs and cascading waterfalls on your 40-minute round-trip helicopter flight. Your pilot will point out popular points of interest from above such as Paia, Hookipa, Haiku and the famous surf destination – JAWS. You'll also see the 'Road to Hana' and the iconic Jurassic Rock before your exclusive landing destination deep in the Hawaiian rainforest.

5.00Wear shoes and clothing able to get damp as the landing mid way is likely to be wet. Spectacular, professional skilled pilots, wondrous tour. Beautiful, ethereal. Only do this is you love riding in a helicopter- if you do, it’s a blast. Six to helicopter. Very educational at the landing break, plus Mimosas!

5.00It was a great experience. Should plan on wearing tennis shoes as it can be slippery in the rain forest. Beautiful scenery you can't see any other way. Ethan was a great pilot! I would definitely do it again! It was a great place to get proposed too. Will always remember the experience!

5.00Ethan was an amazing pilot and tour guide, he pointed out and toured the best locations so that we all got amazing views and pictures. He pointed out the whales and hovered over them so we can all have an unforgettable experience. I got a little motion sickness, but I highly recommend “ do not eat anything before the ride if you know you get queasy! “ I dry heaved, but nothing serious. Still highly enjoyable. lol

The views of the coastline, hidden waterfalls, and the rainforest were breathtaking, and seeing the winding Road to Hana from above is a perspective I’ll never forget. Highly recommend Josh and the whole Maverick team for anyone visiting Maui!

5.00An amazing time! We rotated with our fellow passengers and had both “front” and “rear” seats. If you get the opportunity to sit front row, PLEASE DO. Our pilot, John, had great info and was very communicative on everything!! We had a great time and it was a fantastic surprise for my husband’s birthday!!
