You have to leave way too early and there is a lot of waiting and wasted time. Not sure if it is worth the money. You still have to pay the $25 entry on top of what we paid the tour company.

Love this beach very calm and clean. You do need to make a reservation, and parking is a bit tight be prepared to walk a long way as most of the parking near the entrance is taken up by 10:00A.M. the water is so beautiful and clear also all sunscreen needs to be reef safe also bring water shoes

We told to be ready at 5:40 am and we would be the first people picked up. After 25 min I texted the company and they had no idea the van was missing but said it was now on its way and would be there in 15 minutes. 20 minutes later they were still not there. The other group in the party was also told they should be ready by 5:40 and they would be first. When they texted they were told the van was late because they had other people to pick up. But they were the first to be picked up. The driver Marco was great! He saved the day, told us a lot and was very helpful.

Beautiful experience, definitely something that should be on everyone’s bucket list. People should note this is a nature preserve which is why it’s so well maintained and there are a decent amount of rules and guidelines you must follow but it’s all for the safety of people attending as well as the marine life and their ecosystem. We saw so many beautiful fish and were blown away. Definitely worth visiting and experiencing!!

My reservation was booked the next day without any notice. When I checked my email to let me know because I didn't come to the meeting place at 6am, I noticed that only the date was the next day in the reservation confirmation email 4 days in advance, without any particular mention of changing it. I adjusted my itinerary and joined the next day, but if I had scheduled it, I couldn't join. The Viator reservation date is still the original reservation date. I have used many optional tours abroad, I've never done anything like this before. Last minute changes are very difficult as we plan our plans during the trip.

What a beautiful location! The mountains, the volcanoes, the sunrise and the ocean - it was breathtaking!! We came in November, and it was high tide, so the water was a little rough and it was freezing! I recommend if the water is cold, rent a wet suit! Our goggles kept clouding up and leaking water, so we did not get to snorkel as much as we would have liked. But our bus driver was so nice and shared fun facts about the city as we drove to Hunauma Bay. He even drove us to the top of the area to see the sunrise. You pay for this tour, then have to pay $25 cash to enter the park area. And you have to rent life jackets and other equipment once you are there.
