3.00Something I wish I’d known before booking is that this tour only makes sense if you’re staying in Waikiki. I was staying in Kailua on the north of the island and the friend joining me lives right near Hanauma Bay which made me choose this as a snorkel spot. However shortly before the tour we were texted specific pickup points at Waikiki hotels. I asked if we could just meet the tour at the bay and was told no. The pickup time in Waikiki was 5:45am. It made no sense to wake up even earlier to drive all the way there where parking is horrible and then be shuttled back to where my friend already lives. Also, after reading the fine print I learned that you still have to pay the cash entrance fee at Hanauma Bay, the tour is not guided, and according to my friend there is snorkel equipment available at the bay anyway. So just be aware this experience you are paying for is basically just transit from Waikiki to Hanauma Bay

5.00We were picked up from our meeting spot right on time. Our driver Phillippe was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed and the all our equipment fit. We went with a 6 and 7 year old and had so much fun looking at the fish, building sand castles, and swimming.

5.00It was the second repeat of the tour, and we had three family members (adults). The guide was a very friendly and nice person who guided us on the way. I was checking how to use the snorkeling 3-piece set and how big it felt. Hanauma Bay requires $25 per person in cash. The current is to go to the valet of the Iricai Hotel (very close to the Hilton) where the meeting point is by 5:45 and pick you up in the entrance parking lot at 11:10. On our way back, it was uphill from the beach entrance, so we took the shuttle. By the way, the shuttle is free. It's about four hours, but that's enough time. The fish look really messed up because of the shallow coral. And Azara was sleeping on the shore.

5.00We had such a great experience with our tour guide, Kevin Tu. He was very punctual when picking us up & dropping us off. We were the first one in the gates & one of the first ones to leave. He was also very informative & answered all our questions well. This being our first time snorkeling, it was such a memorable experience. 10/10 would recommend anyone who is planning to go snorkeling at Hanauma Bay. A tour is a must!
