Beautiful setting, wonderful hosts and delicious bread - what more could you want from an experience on holiday? We felt incredibly welcomed from the minute we arrived and it was a really lovely way to spend the morning. The steps to make the bread were clear and we got to try some tasty local snacks as well. I would highly recommend a visit and can't wait to replicate a bit of Madeira when I return home and make the recipe again

We went to learn to make bolo do caco at Casa da Nati today and had a wonderful time. Everyone was very welcoming. We loved learning the Madeira way of making this bread and will take this teaching with us to British Columbia, Canada. The family was very welcoming. We felt right at home. I recommend this experience to everyone who comes to Madeira.

We learned how to do bolo do caco. Everything was very well prepared and ready to start as soon as we git there. The ladies that worked there were really nice and friendly as well. The place where the activity takes place has a very traditional feeling with the fireplace used to bake the breads. Overall an amazing experience I totally recomend.

I found a very good experience to learn some of Madeirese traditions. I am Madeirese and I loved it. I've never made cacao cake or bread with chourisso which are two things I love. The family who provided us with the experience is very friendly and made the afternoon with was memorable. I consider it a very good activity for both foreigners and Madeirans who want to know their roots better.

There were five of us (there was hardly room for more people). The people are super friendly, accommodating and helpful. The bread baking itself was entertaining and in the end we could eat the delicious bread directly.
