Fun tour in open air jeep around Hanoi. Hai is a great English speaking guide with fun stories and interesting facts about the sights. He was considerate of our slower pace, checked in a lot about how we were doing, found the easiest path for the tour, or shade for our one friend who had to sit instead of seeing some of the sights. Thanks Hai! We enjoyed being in the open jeep seeing some neighborhoods from a different perspective. Our driver DA navigated the streets with all kinds of expertise and even made sure our friend could have a step to get in/out of the jeep. They provided drinks in two cafes along the way and water in the jeep. I would recommend a mask for the jeep in our case there was some construction happening on the road.

It was a fantastic tour with Louis and driver An. We got to see and experience so much, from major landmarks to small street markets. The highlight was the Hanoi trainstreet, which was included in the itinerary.

If you are looking for a way to see the real Hanoi—beyond the standard tourist traps—look no further. My father and I recently booked the Hanoi Backstreet Jeep Tour, and it was easily the highlight of our trip. From start to finish, the experience was seamless, thrilling, and incredibly insightful. What made it truly unique was our "Double Johnny" team: Johnny the driver and Johnny the guide. The Highlights • The "Johnnys": Having two Johnnys looking after us was a fun coincidence that set a great tone for the day. • Johnny (our guide) was a fountain of knowledge. He shared fascinating stories about Hanoi’s history, culture, and the hidden gems we stopped at along the way. • Johnny (our driver) was a total pro. Navigating Hanoi’s chaotic traffic in a vintage Jeep is an art form, and he made us feel completely safe while keeping the ride exciting. • The Route: We loved weaving through the narrow backstreets and alleys where tour buses simply can’t go. It felt like we were getting an authentic peek into the daily lives of the locals. • The Jeep: There is something undeniably cool about cruising through Vietnam in an open-air vintage Jeep. It’s the perfect vantage point for photos and soaking in the city's energy. Final Verdict This tour is a must-do. It’s the perfect blend of adventure, education, and pure fun. My father and I haven't stopped talking about it since we hopped off. Huge thanks to the team for making our father-son trip so special. We’ll definitely be recommending this to everyone we know heading to Vietnam!

Boo was amazing! His knowledge and passion for his home town was great. He was able to share history, culture and show how all cultures and community live together. From start to end Boo was attentive and responsive. The experience allowed us to see many different aspects of the Community. Great food, coffee and culture.

Anni was a brilliant tour guide full of information. We had a great tour and would highly recommend. Anni and her driver Mr Cung even altered the trip for us without any hassle as we were running late.
