What To Expect
Begin your journey with a hassle-free pick-up from your hotel or accommodation in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, setting the stage for an exciting exploration of the city. Start your first visit at Hanoi’s oldest pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda. Constructed during the 6th century under Emperor Ly Nam Đe, this over 1,500-year-old landmark is steeped in history and spiritual significance, located on the tranquil West Lake.
One Pillar Pagoda
Walk past Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Square, a site of deep historical and cultural significance, and visit the iconic One Pillar Pagoda. Optional: Want to explore further? Step inside the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in the morning (8:00–10:30 AM), except on Mondays and Fridays when it is closed. Customizable Option: Prefer a different attraction? Choose from the Temple of Literature, Hoa Lo Prison, or various museums. Your tour guide will help create a personalized experience to match your interests. (Note: Admission fees for alternative attractions are not included.)

5.00Our tour guide Phuc was very knowledgeable and informative. He and his driver took us a wonderful tour of Hanoi where we visited long bien train station and had photos on the bridge. We visited the ‘Hanoi Hilton’ prison and gained an insight into its history and impact. We also went to the St Joseph’s Cathedral but a funeral was taking place so we didn’t go in. Then we had drinks on Train Street where the trains pass by only inches away but it’s very exciting. We also visited the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum and then added the Temple of Literature as an added extra. This was a fantastic person tour with a helpful, knowledgeable and engaging guide supported by a fabulous driver. Definitely recommended.

5.00We had a fantastic half day private tour of Hanoi with Phuc. He was an excellent guide and is very knowledgeable not just about Hanoi but also other parts of the country. It was great to take a private tour you can go at your own pace and look at things that interest you most. Phuc took us to the famous train street at the time to see the train come through which is such an experience! Definitely the best way to see the sights of Hanoi.
