Constructed during the 6th century under Emperor Ly Nam Đe, this over 1,500-year-old landmark is steeped in history and spiritual significance, located on the tranquil West Lake.
One Pillar Pagoda
Walk past Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Square, a site of deep historical and cultural significance, and visit the iconic One Pillar Pagoda. Optional: Want to explore further? Step inside the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in the morning (8:00–10:30 AM), except on Mondays and Fridays when it is closed. Customizable Option: Prefer a different attraction? Choose from the Temple of Literature, Hoa Lo Prison, or various museums. Your tour guide will help create a personalized experience to match your interests. 5.00We had such a great half-day tour in Hanoi with Jenny! She’s super friendly, easy to talk to, and really knows her city. We learned so many interesting things about the history and daily life here. She also gave us really useful tips for food and places to see on our own. If you’re in Hanoi, definitely go with Jenny, you’ll have a great time!

5.00We had an absolutely fantastic guided half-day tour in Hanoi! Our guide, Jenny, was outstanding — incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and spoke excellent English. She brought the history and culture of the city to life and made the experience both engaging and informative. Our itinerary included Train Street (which I’d seen on Instagram — and it definitely lived up to the hype!), the fascinating and sobering Hoa Lo Prison, the peaceful Temple of Literature, and a drive through the Old Quarter, French Quarter, and the political district. The comfortable ride provided a lovely respite from the summer heat and allowed us to take in the city’s charm without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Jenny also went above and beyond by recommending fantastic local coffee shops and restaurants for us to try later on — a thoughtful touch that added even more value to the tour. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hanoi. Ask for Jenny if you can — she made our morning unforgettable!
