What To Expect
Located on a small island in the middle of West Lake, Tran Quoc Pagoda is the oldest Buddhist temple in Hanoi, dating back over 1,500 years. Explore the peaceful surroundings and learn about the history and significance of this ancient site.
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum
The tour guide will take you to walk across the front of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to take photos and learn about his history. We do not enter the Mausoleum, as the queue can take approximately 1.5 hours. After that, you may visit the One Pillar Pagoda if you wish.

5.00Chung was an absolutely fantastic tour guide with a wealth of good information all about the history of Hanoi, his experiences growing up here, the local cultures and religious beliefs of the local populations. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend 4 hours in Hanoi. Both my wife and I highly recommend this tour. Tung, our driver was absolutely fantastic as well! Thank you. We will return! Until then! 🥂

5.0010 Stars out of 5 stars -Highly Recommend (Don't Miss This One). Honestly, to visit the key locations of Han Oi with out this private tour would have resulted in a simple visual experience. We can't speak higher of Peter's knowledge and expertise in the manner he was able to share this with us (excellent English speaker) which added so much value to our trip. Peter organised us premium seating at Train Street, acted as our private photographer , snapping all the best shots) and just went above and beyond at every stop. He is such a nice young man and it was a pleasure to spend time with him and learn about Vietnam. The car was modern and clean and our driver was great too. Do yourself a favour and do this tour (ask for Peter if you can)

5.00Had the best time with James as my tour guide in Hanoi. He was super friendly, warm, and easy to get along with, and knew so much about the city. I was travelling alone and felt completely safe the whole time, which meant a lot. Honestly just felt like exploring with a friend—such a fun experience.

The Private Half-Day Customised offered by Hanoi City Tours did just that and didn’t disappoint. Tom was both a great guide and excellent company throughout. His knowledge and enthusiasm for the city of his birth came across very strongly.
