What To Expect
Located on a small island in the middle of West Lake, Tran Quoc Pagoda is the oldest Buddhist temple in Hanoi, dating back over 1,500 years. Explore the peaceful surroundings and learn about the history and significance of this ancient site.
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum
The tour guide will take you to walk across the front of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to take photos and learn about his history. We do not enter the Mausoleum, as the queue can take approximately 1.5 hours. After that, you may visit the One Pillar Pagoda if you wish.

5.00We had Sandy as our guide and I’m so glad we did. She spoke excellent English explained everything really well and took time to find out what we wanted to do on the tour. She was really knowledgable and could answer all our questions. The train street was amazing! Sandy made sure we had front row seats for 2 trains coming through. It was a great experience. Don’t be frightened to try the street food. We would never have gone into the places if we were on our own but Sandy advised us what to try and we were all fine - no dicky bellies! I would definitely recommend this trip, Great value for money for what you get.

5.00Sandy was our guide she was informative funny helpful very good tour guide we had fun we especially enjoyed the train st and the walking street food tour highly recommended.
It is recommended to take the tour if you have limited time and dont want to worry about logistics.

5.00What an amazing day! We both loved the experience of seeing Hanoi with the wonderful Peter who is full of knowledge about the city and all of the important sites to see. From the beginning, Peter was so welcoming ( and the taxi driver was lovely, too). Having an experienced guide who spoke absolutely perfect English, made the tour even more enjoyable because we could ask as many questions as we wanted and he answered everything. The day before we had toured the city on foot looking at everything, but didn’t know the full story/historical details of what we were seeing. Peter had so much extra information about Hoa Lo prison that we found fascinating. I would highly recommend Peter as your guide if you want a top tour of the key sights with a very personable and easy to talk to guide. Thanks again, Peter!

5.00We booked a half day tour and Stephen came to pick us up at the hotel exactly at the time mentioned (he had communicated the time of pick-up the day before the tour, making it completely hassle free). Stephen was very well mannered and knowledgeable. He gave us great info on all the sites we visited, giving us so much insight into the history and culture of Hanoi and Vietnam. The tour included a traditional Vietnamese lunch and all our food preferences were taken into mind. Vegetarians also had food available for them. The trip included Hoa Lo prison, Temple of Literature and Tran Quoc pagoda. Stephen's narration of facts and stories at the prison moved us. The beautiful temple of literature and pagoda mesmerized us. Everyone was also provided links and timings to the night market and train streets in case we were interested to visit. Overall we had a great experience, highly recommend.

5.00Because of the timing we needed to start our tour at 5:00 am. Sandy was our tour guide and she was excellent!! We also had a private driver!! Even though it was very early in the morning, Sandy was very upbeat and knowledgeable!! In the time that we were together, Sandy made sure we saw many of the the sites that we wanted to see - Flower market, One Pillar Pagoda, Ho Chi Min Mausoleum - Changing of the Guard, ceramic wall, Fruit and Vegetable market, Train Street, Egg Coffee, and a place that works with disabled people who make pottery and needle point artwork. That is a lot for a four hour period!! Again, it was an excellent experience and I would highly recommend the tour!!
