Wonderful experience. Our guide, Thomas, showed a lot of sympathy and knowledge about everything we were introduced to. Made our walk very light and pleasant.

I recommend it! And I recommend Thomas as a guide - he was stellar from A to Z. He made sure we could ask any questions and could bring the best Vietnamese stories you should know. Go for it!

The young male guide's lack of understanding of English and thoughtfulness allowed me to tour the sights of the city. We also went on a full day tour of Ha Long Bay, but if we knew, we should have gone on a full day tour of the city without going to the crowded bay, which is just far away and uncaring.
