• A Day in Hanoi from Ha Long Bay

  From the time we were picked up at the Ha Long cruise port, our experience was very exceptional! Our driver Thanhk, drove us two hours to Hanoi and even did a rest stop in between so we could use the restrooms and pick up something to eat if we liked. We met up at the Hanoi Opera House with our guide Leo, who is very well prepared to tell us about the sites in Hanoi.. We were able to see a lot of the highlights and had a lunch at an excellent Vietnamese restaurant. After that, a rickshaw or cycle ride that proved to be most exciting.. Leo did an excellent job and all four of us were totally pleased with this tour, which included the transportation from the port and back. We would use Leo again if we were ever back in Ha Long Bay..

  Our day was exceptional. The transfer to Hanoi was timely with no incidents and we really enjoyed our enthsiastic driver. Although his english was limited we had a erfect conversation the whole trip through Google Translate. In the city we met our guide Travis and he had a very full day planned for us. We saw all of the important sites that included an exceptional Tuk Tuk ride down to Railroad Street. Lunch was delicious and we were taken back to the cruise dock timely. Could not have asked for a better day!

  A well organised day with long travel times from port to Hanoi. Our guide Ming was excellent his knowledge of the sites and time management cannot be faulted. We were grateful to complete the itinerary within the trip time. Highlights of the trip were Train Road seeing the train pass through at close proximity. Lunch in a local restaurant who superbly catered for my vegetarian wife. Egg Nog coffee presentation and a Rickshaw ride for 50 minutes around Hanoi old town. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to do this tour

  Very informative man. Would recommend Minh to our friends. There was just the right balance between walking and being driven to the next destination. We saw all the main sights and the rickshaw ride was an experience.

  The Guide, Tim, was able to change the small compact car to using local SUV electric taxi for local sights visits and assigned a Mitsubishi SUV to take us back to the ship side on the pier. All sights visit are good and smooth and informative. However, the luxury lunch were just simple, clean and courteous, not good French cooking with Vtnamese ingredients as promised inspite the high charges.
