  We arrived into Halong Bay on a Viking cruise and were met by our friendly driver at the terminal. We rode in a nice clean car to Hanoi where we met our guide Leo. Leo was personable and spoke good English. We saw all the sights listed in the tour description enjoying the rickshaw ride, fantastic lunch and Vietnamese egg coffee. It was a long but extremely enjoyable day and would recommend to anyone wanting to see Hanoi in a day.

  My husband and I arrived in Ha Long bay on a Viking cruise. We had pre booked Hanoi in a day through Viator. The day was great from the start. Our driver was waiting for us at the pre assigned location with our name on a sign. The car was new and clean. We drove easily to Hanoi where we met Leo our guide. Leo was friendly and spoke good English so the day went smoothly. We saw everything on our list, enjoyed the rickshaw ride through the busy streets of Hanoi, had an exceptional lunch and experienced train street with a Vietnamese coffee. Truly an exceptional day and experience! Would recommend to anyone wanting to get the total experience and feel of Hanoi. Can’t say enough about Leo and our driver. Great tour.

  Tony was excellent guide, experiencing top sites in Hanoi from cruise port. Much better than tours offered by the ship. Train Street and peddle cab ride were terrific. Included lunch had nice variety of local dishes.

  Tony was very knowledgeable and provided a great introduction to Hanoi. He was able to adjust our schedule to include the full Train Street experience. We almost passed on tuk tuk tour, but experiencing the cooperative chaos of Hanoi streets close up was a highlight. Thank you Tony.

  Great learning experience! Tiring and very warm! Saw many sites in Hanoi, even rode a Rick Shaw! Guide was knowledgeable food was good!

  Two couples were collected from the Cruise Port in an efficient and timely fashion by an excellent, safe and skilled driver, who delivered us back to the ship in the requested time. We collected the guide in Hanoi and Ivy was absolutely Superb in taking us to the following areas. Hanoi Hilton (Prison) Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and other major sights in this fantastic vibrant City. She arranged a wonderful vantage point in a bar to watch the amazing Train spectacle going through the market area and appropriately named Train Street. She took us to a lovely local Restaurant where we had a very memorable lunch. To conclude we had a Rickshaw ride which was a terrific experience. Ivy was the ultimate professional, knowledgeable, friendly and great company. This was a great trip, we learned a lot about the City, the culture and everyone voted this trip a huge success.

  The shops by the train were amazing to see. Our tour guide,Mai , was very sweet and helpful. The school and story of the students and their success or failure was interesting.

• A Day in Hanoi from Ha Long Bay

  From the time we were picked up at the Ha Long cruise port, our experience was very exceptional! Our driver Thanhk, drove us two hours to Hanoi and even did a rest stop in between so we could use the restrooms and pick up something to eat if we liked. We met up at the Hanoi Opera House with our guide Leo, who is very well prepared to tell us about the sites in Hanoi.. We were able to see a lot of the highlights and had a lunch at an excellent Vietnamese restaurant. After that, a rickshaw or cycle ride that proved to be most exciting.. Leo did an excellent job and all four of us were totally pleased with this tour, which included the transportation from the port and back. We would use Leo again if we were ever back in Ha Long Bay..

  Had the most amazing day in Hanoi. Loi could not have done anymore for us. Saw so much, had beautiful food and even got to see a train passing. Our driver Duy was also fabulous. Would highly recommend this tour .
