I joined HAI as a tourist on their Jeep tour, and it was absolutely unforgettable. Riding through the city in an open, military-style Jeep (sevent years old—the Jeep, not the driver!) was pure fun and added so much character to the experience. Our driver, Mr. C, was fantastic—professional, engaging, and clearly passionate about what he does. The night wrapped up with incredible food that was the perfect ending to an already amazing tour. This was hands-down one of the highlights of my trip. Fun, unique, and flawlessly run. I would highly, highly recommend HAI to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience.

We had such a great time on our Hanoi Jeep tour. It was the perfect way to see the city beyond the obvious spots — a really fun ride, great cultural stops, and a good mix of history, local life and viewpoints. Our guide, Hai, was outstanding. He shared loads of knowledge throughout the tour and brought everything to life with context and stories, not just facts. We especially loved the Train Street experience, which was handled smoothly and felt like a real highlight rather than a rushed photo stop. Overall, a fantastic way to experience Hanoi in a short time — engaging, well-paced, and genuinely memorable. Highly recommend, and if you can, ask for Hai!

We were picked up at our hotel promptly and then picked up another couple at their hotel. Our guide Huy (Lee)was fluent in English and extremely personable. 0ur driver was very good at navigating the insanely busy streets of Hanoi and we felt very safe. We visited many areas of Hanoi that the average tourist would never get to see. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we threw at him. We went to an “ off the beaten track” hideaway restaurant called the Hidden Hem for a delicious, authentic lunch. The decor was eclectic, fun and plentiful. Had our first Vietnamese egg coffee which was delicious and artistic. After many interesting stops at various venues, we arrived at the Train Station Cafe just in time to experience the most incredible blood-rushing highlight of the day. A MUST SEE event. After an amazing, almost 5 hour excursion, we were safely deposited back to our hotel. This Viator adventure is well worth doing for any age group.
