Taste your way through Vietnam’s capital city on this nighttime excursion. After a convenient hotel pickup, hop on a motorbike and savor complimentary dishes like Banh Cuon (steamed roll cake), Bun Cha (grilled pork with vermicelli noodles), freshly grilled seafood and some different Hanoian version of Pho and banana salads and other traditional Vietnamese dishes. Get an insider’s view of Hanoi’s food scene while exploring sites like the Long Bien Bridge, West lake, Ngu Xa village, pass by the French quarter and the local hangout “Train Street.”

What To Expect
Old Quarter
18:00 Our mainly female drivers and tour guide of Motorbike City Tours will meet you at your hotel lobby for a safety briefing and detailed itinerary of your journey. We use a fleet of brand new Honda Lead scooters equipped with passenger backrests for comfort, you feel like you are in a lounge chair, not hanging on tightly as some bikes you may do. The first stage of our Hanoi By Night Foodie Motorbike Tours, we stop at local eatery Hanoians claim is the best spot for Banh Cuon (steamed rolled cake) in town. The skilled chef will demonstrate for us how the ingredients are put together as we get to experience a front row seat to the culinary process. Our tour continues weaving through the streets bathed in the glow of colorful lanterns and decorative lights in the Old Quarter as we ride along the bank of the Red River to take in the views of Hanoi under the cover of night.
Long Bien Bridge
The second stage of our Hanoi By Night Foodie Motorbike Tours leads us to one of Hanoi’s most prominent family run restaurants where you will get to enjoy Bun Cha( grilled pork with vermicelli noodle). You’ll be taken on a ride over to West Lake to enjoy the scenery before arriving at Ngu Xa village to try Freshly grilled seafood and some different Hanoian version of Pho and Banana salads and other traditional Vietnamese dishes.

5.00This was an excellent tour taking you to the authentic local restaraunts. I initially thought that it would be a group tour of 10, but was pleasantly surprised that each tour is what you make of it. I was on a solo excursion, and there were different sized groups of 2, 4 etc. In my case my guide Simone and I only ran into one other group once, and we continued 1:1, it's completely flexible. Welll worth it.

5.00This was the most amazing experience and only way you should see Hanoi. Not only did SuMe, Pineapple and Ho take us around Hanoi but took us in some lesser known streets and took us to 4 restaurants where we ate breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. The train street was a bonus! We highly recommend and will be trying this in all the next cities we go to on this trip.

5.00Wow, what a great evening! We spent it riding on the back of scooters on a street food tour, which was such a fun way to see the city. Along the way we tried everything from breakfast, lunch, and dinner to dessert, snails, and even stopped for a drink at a café on Train Street. Our guide Summi and her team were so friendly and made us feel safe the whole time. They shared lots of interesting info about traditional Vietnamese food and the places we passed, which really added to the experience. They also took photos and even sent us a short video afterwards, which was a lovely touch. We did a private family tour (2 adults and 2 kids aged 13 and 15), and we all had such a great time. We loved being on the back of the motorbikes so much that we booked a Vespa sightseeing tour for the next morning. Would definitely recommend!

5.00Only 2 people on this trip but thoroughly enjoyed it largely due to very friendly and knowledgeable guide Summi and the compamy of lovely Molly ,another traveller but never met before.The bikes are a grest way to get around and really refreshing in the heat.I would recommend both the tour and Summi with no hesitation. 5.00Fantastic tour through Hanoi and the food was delicious. My driver, Happy, was wonderful and I felt so safe on the back of her Motorbike. She suggested delicious traditional meals, that I will order from now on. Highly recommend this tour it was so much fun and Happy was good company.

5.00We had the best time!! Felt like a very authentic experience and by far the best thing we did in Hanoi. All the food tasted delicious and we had SO MUCH. It made so much more sense to get a guide because we had no idea how to eat the food (all the dips and stuff). It also felt very safe! And learned so much about Vietnam too.
