We did a private tour with 4 adults and 2 children--their Street Eats n Bites--on a Saturday evening. It was amazing! We have done a number of food tours around the world and this one definitely ranked up there. Hà was great with explaining the foods and history, adapting for several dietary needs (including 2 for no pork, which is more challenging here), and answering our questions. He even went on a side quest to find us coin cakes, which my daughter loves. Will definitely do it again with other visitors! I suggest the extra money for a private tour is worth it. Foods we ate included egg coffee (and an egg chocolate for non coffee drinkers), papaya salad, quail eggs, steamed rice pancakes, glass noodles, donuts, sugar cane juice, mini banh mi, fruit, grilled beef with betel leaves, and more! The dishes are delicious and the places were very authentic. It was a lot of fun.

Our guide, Chloe, was lovely and her excellent English and conversation made the tour really enjoyable. The food stops were both interesting and yummy and some of the places we would never have found or been brave enough to try.

COME HUNGRY!! Just landed and our first introduction to Vietnam was our food tour and Chloe did not disappoint. She checked all the go to eats along with some (earth worm) we couldn’t imagine. Great experience and got an intimate tour of the Old Quarter on top of it. Great time and Great job!

Our guide, Brian, took us to small local restaurants and food stalls that we would have never found on our own. Our new all-time favorite dishes are ones that we never knew existed. If you want to have a more authentic food experience, then this tour is a must do,

Myself and my husband really enjoyed our food walking tour with Jennie. We got to try food and drinks we hadn’t experienced before. Jennie has really good English, is very knowledgeable and most importantly lots of fun. We highly recommend this tour and if you can get Jennie, that’s an added bonus

We did a private food tour with Brian, and he showed us less well known (but still very delicious) dishes, including unique creations from some of the vendors. He’s extremely knowledgeable in Vietnamese culture and history and was so much fun to be with. He also took us to see some sites including the longest alleyway in Hanoi and the last city gate. Thanks for such a great tour!

Thoughtful, wide-ranging street food tour in Hanoi with a bunch of fun commentary on the historical and social context for the foods we tried. Bahn mi que, banh xeo, and egg coffee that traces lineage to the OG were highlights. A big night out! And Brian, the guide, has other great tours (Knifemaking! Coffee! Beer!) on offer as well!

Brian did an excellent job of showing us the best local places to in Hanoi and many specialty places and foods we never would have found on our own. It’s like having a friend that lives on Hanoi show you the places only the locals know. He was fun, informative and also told us a condensed history of Vietnam. He brought us to 10 different places ! Amazing! He also kept in contact with us the rest of the trip and while in Hoi An and gave us tips for there as well and other local contacts for tailors and other tours in other cities. We also took one of his knife making trips which was awesome and made our own knives - a highlight of our entire trip. Excellent host and tour!
