5.00We deferred this tour due to heavy rain and flooding on the original date and road closures around Hanoi due to the 80th Anniversay Parade rehersals. On the day of our tour, weather was perfect. Vu & Phuong our guides/drivers collected us on their bikes and away we went. A real adventure all around Okd Town, French Qtr and Westlake. Stopped for a coffee by the central lake, then Art St - fantastic, over the Red River and back, dinner, a stop for a ciconut ice cream, John McCain memorial, Lowering of the Flag at Ho Chi Minh mausoleum them a beer on the way back to the hotel. Navigating Hanoi traffic on a scooter was part of the fun, even a bit hair-raising at times. Great tour, one of the best we have done.

5.00Had an absolute ball. Friday late afternoon and night navigating all the traffic with the best guide, Nick. I felt so safe in Nick’s capable hands. He took me to the best places, ate the most delicious food and shared lots of stories and laughs. Cannot rest his tour enough.

5.00Had the Best time on the evening moto bike tour in Hanoi! The stops are all worthwhile, the guide was super informative, and riding on a moto bike was not only fun but get such an authentic experience in the city. Do not hesitate to book this (or more!) tours with Taste of Hanoi - you will not regret it!

5.00Riding as a pillion passenger around the crazy streets of Hanoi was a blast. Rose, my wonderful driver and guide was superb. She was not only great company but full of really interesting information about life in Vietnam and its history. I cannot recommend her too highly!!

5.00I am so glad we chose to do A Taste Of Hanoi’s sunset motorbike tour! It was an awesome activity to do with kids, all the drivers were fantastic, spoke great English and were very knowledgeable. We saw loads, learnt more and had a brilliant time. I’ll do this tour again if we come back to Hanoi and would recommend it in a heartbeat! Thanks to Brian for organising it so soon after Vietnam reopened and so quickly for our short notice trip.

5.00Brain picked me up at my hotel right on time and we were off on his motorcycle. I was a little nervous as I had seen how some of the motorcyclists drive, but he made me feel very comfortable. I was ill prepared for the chill of the evening, but Brian was well prepared and was kind enough to lend me a scarf and jacket. He showed me sights, I would not have otherwise have seen. It was a wonderful evening and I would highly recommend using Brian as your guide!

5.00I’ll confess - my reason for taking the tour was to get sunset pictures, but the rain started falling an hour before and it turned into a rainy adventure. I’m so glad I had Công to guide me around Hanoi via motorbike! Bourdain said in his Hanoi episode that the one thing you HAVE to do is see Hanoi by motorbike ... I’d add, “in the rain.” The combination of art, history, culture, and food was unbeatable. As a solo traveler who doesn’t speak the language, one of my biggest worries is that I won’t truly experience a place, but getting the chance to spend the evening chatting with Công about his life and the deep history of Vietnam was an absolute pleasure! We saw the Ho Chi Minh flag lowering ceremony at 9p, and before that spent hours looking at a variety of sights, and eating snacks along the way. Dinner was absolutely delicious and in a place I never would have found on my own — let alone would I have known what to order. All five dishes were completely new to me, which was amazing. In summary, if you’re looking to experience Hanoi beyond the guidebook, this is the tour for you. I would add that I loved supporting a local company (run by an expat American) that hires young people like Công. His love of learning is infectious - thanks for a great time, Công!

5.00This is a small company and made up of folks who live locally in Vietnam. If you are looking for a safe, memorable, and absolutely perfect way to see the city, do this trip through this company. My wife and I took a private motorbike tour with this group, specifically Brian and Cung, and they were the best people we met while in Hanoi. They gave us an experience that we never would have dreamed of, from mixing history with food to sweeping views off Long Bien Bridge, to the flag lowering ceremony at Ba Dinh Square. We learned so much history, got to know our guides over various eats (banh mi, yogurt coffee, aforementioned dinner), and discovered new foods and tastes that only they could help us find. It was our most memorable and personal experience in Hanoi, like we were out with new (and old) friends. The ride itself was very easy, comfortable, and relaxing--both our guides were excellent drivers, of course. If you are nervous or hesitant to get on a motorbike in this city, don't worry! This tour group has you covered!
