The Linq Promenade
The observation wheel happens to be situated smack in the center of Las Vegas’ most fun entertainment quarter, The LINQ. Enjoy 'grab and go'' seafood from Gordon Ramsay Fish abd Chips or munch on upscale Mexican fare at Chayo Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar. Not hungry? Head to the Brooklyn Bowl to knock down some pins, or browse a variety of shops in the area.
High Roller
There's happy hour on the Strip, and then there's happy hour above the Strip. Hop in an climate-controlled pod and enjoy access to a full bar for the entire 30-minute revolution. The only thing you have to bring besides your ticket? Proof that you're 21 years old or older. Drink in hand, admire the neon-lit landscape as a recording of a witty narrator shares trivia about the city’s landmarks (only here will you find pyramids next to the Eiffel Tower). After the ride, browse in the Sky Shop for a reminder of your spin through Sin City’s celestial skies in the form of commemorative glassware or a tiny version of the High Roller itself. Last ride departs at 11:30pm.

I believe it's worth the money if you are a real drinker. They encourage you to drink. I enjoyed the bartender. It was s good time.

Great time on the Happy Half Hour experience. The cabin group was small. Plenty of room to move about to view the views from all sides. Joe the bartender was entertaining and provided great service.

Waited for over an hour with ZERO air conditioning in the line up. Only 2 of the “balls”, or whatever you want to call them, even had a bar. So the wait was even longer. We were literally sweating. At one point it stoppped because someone was checking something on one of them with the doors for about 15 minutes. When we did finally get on, it took forever to get a drink because it was so full. So really, it’s not “unlimited” drinks if there’s only time for one or two. There were seats for maybe 6 people. The AC was at a minimum. No real music. Not at all what I thought it was gonna be. Total disappointment.

It moves slowly but feels like the 30 minute experience flies by ! Opted to buy tickets for the happy hour ride and glad I did. It was loads of fun and the bartender was both funny and friendly making it a fun experience. We had a small group of about 6 which to me was perfect in terms of the number of people . I think it should not be any more than 10 otherwise you will feel cramped.

We went on this at 8:00pm and it was a perfect time to do it. A half hour after sunset and before the strip gets congested seemed like a great way to spend a half hour. Drinks were small but strong. Open bar managed to get 3 drinks into each person who wanted them. One at "launch," one after that, and one "to go" as the ride was ending. Also there was a shot toast at the top of something mysterious and fruity. Depending on your pod-mates, this could be a dance party (ours was), or a quiet romantic moment.. Worst part: Waiting to board. One of our party has mobility challenges and waiting on the hot platform for our pod was almost unbearable. Seating in the pods are very limited and we were grateful he found a little bench inside.

One of the “best value” experiences in Las Vegas! We did the happy half hour at mid-day on a Monday… so crowds were light. We had a great view of the Strip and beyond. But best of all… the drinks! MIKE THE BARTENDER kept the drinks flowing faster than our group could consume them. Be prepared to drink a lot in 30 minutes. The ride was fine, but the extra fee for the bar service was well-worth the price. THANKS MIKE!

There are only two cars that have bars, out of 28 and in our case, there was only 1. So we had to wait over an hour just to get on a car with 40 other people. Absolutely not worth it.
