It was fine. Loungers weren’t in the best shape or that comfy. But it was fine. Umbrellas could’ve been a bigger to accommodate the sun changes.

Our 3rd day visit during a cruise and fantastic as always. Service excellent and worth booking on line to reserve your bed. Reasonably priced drinks and food for a lovely beach club

Our cruise ship stopped in Barbados, and one of the couples at our dining table recommended Carlyle Beach—specifically Harbour Lights. During the day it’s a beach club, and at night it turns into a nightclub. Don’t worry, it’s perfectly organized and works really well for both vibes. If you’re booking through Viator or TripAdvisor, note that reservations usually need to be made at least two days in advance. If you’re planning last minute (within a day), go directly through their website instead. With your reservation, you get two lounge chairs and one umbrella. You can choose between the first row by the water, the second row, or general seating. The day we went, they were sold out—but since we had a reservation, we walked right in and were seated immediately. It felt very smooth and well-run. The sand was soft, the bay water clear and calm—absolutely beautiful. Food and drinks are available for purchase; you can either walk up to order or let one of the friendly staff walking around take care of it for you (for a small upcharge). There are restrooms on site, though I didn’t use them. Keep in mind it’s a public beach, so a few local vendors might approach you selling souvenirs or offering massages. Everyone was polite and respectful, though, so it wasn’t an issue. Getting there is easy - 5/10 min by car. You can take a private taxi from the cruise port, but the shared group taxis are very convenient and cost only about $5 USD each way. There are usually taxis waiting at the entrance to take you back to the ship when you’re ready. All in all, it was a fantastic day. Just be sure to book ahead of time—and you won’t be disappointed!

You should get larger umbrellas. Otherwise staff were very nice, food was really good. We came in a holiday so no options beyond this

Seats well spaced no hassle from vendors. Runners were helpful and friendly. Just remember prices are in US dollars. Not you rum shop prices. Burgers a must try.

This was perfect for our group. We cruised in on Virgin and caught a shared taxi from the port. The taxi was going to the beach but made stops for other passengers at an ATM and also at Rhianna’s childhood home. We were NOT aware that other stops would be made and it made us late for Harbour Lights. When we finally arrived, We checked in, got our wristbands and were escorted to our chairs and umbrellas which were waiting for us with our name on them. I could finally exhale that we were ok. The beach was clean, there was food available, things to buy and restrooms on site. We had an 80+ year old traveling with us she had no problems. They even had beach runners who brought us drinks when we were ready.

This visit was absolutely amazing. I was so excited to bring my daughter here for the day and we were not disappointed. The venue was superb and the hospitality of all the staff was a blessing. We had a lovely lunch and a couple of delicious cocktails Then spent a wonderful couple of hours on the beach. The beach was well tended. The sand immaculate and even the sea water was perfect definitely my favourite beach from now on in

This is our second time at Harbor Lights while on a cruise and it's just as nice as the first time! Food and drinks were amazing! The facility was clean and the staff was so accommodating. Can't wait to come back soon ❤️

Visited Harbour Lights off of our cruise ship, which was within a 15 minute shared taxi ride ($5/pp). It was a rainy day which made the experience less enjoyable and we ended up only spending a couple of hours. However the setup is great with the chairs and umbrella. The beach is very nice. It was a popular place with other activities available if wanted. We didn’t get to experience the rest of area due to the less than ideal day, but had a lot of food and beverages available.
