  This was perfect for our group. We cruised in on Virgin and caught a shared taxi from the port. The taxi was going to the beach but made stops for other passengers at an ATM and also at Rhianna’s childhood home. We were NOT aware that other stops would be made and it made us late for Harbour Lights. When we finally arrived, We checked in, got our wristbands and were escorted to our chairs and umbrellas which were waiting for us with our name on them. I could finally exhale that we were ok. The beach was clean, there was food available, things to buy and restrooms on site. We had an 80+ year old traveling with us she had no problems. They even had beach runners who brought us drinks when we were ready.

  This visit was absolutely amazing. I was so excited to bring my daughter here for the day and we were not disappointed. The venue was superb and the hospitality of all the staff was a blessing. We had a lovely lunch and a couple of delicious cocktails Then spent a wonderful couple of hours on the beach. The beach was well tended.   This is our second time at Harbor Lights while on a cruise and it's just as nice as the first time! Food and drinks were amazing! The facility was clean and the staff was so accommodating. Can't wait to come back soon ❤️

  Visited Harbour Lights off of our cruise ship, which was within a 15 minute shared taxi ride ($5/pp). It was a rainy day which made the experience less enjoyable and we ended up only spending a couple of hours. However the setup is great with the chairs and umbrella. The beach is very nice. It was a popular place with other activities available if wanted. We didn’t get to experience the rest of area due to the less than ideal day, but had a lot of food and beverages available.

  Friendly helpful staff shown to our designated beach chair as soon as we arrived even had our name on the reserved plaque. Very impressed super clean facilities showers with shower gel available for use drinks and food reasonably priced considering a beachfront location would definitely use again.

  Harbor Lights in Barbados is always a fantastic experience. The facility is well-kept with great food, drinks, changing rooms, and a beautiful beach with excellent chair and beach service. Derek truly made this visit memorable with his great personality, high energy, and dedication to making sure everyone was happy. I will definitely return on my next trip to Barbados.

  Our third time at Harbour Lights and we felt the vibe was a little off this time. The receptionist could hardly have been more indifferent to our arrival - no sign of a welcome greeting. Even a ‘hello’ would have been nice. The beds are showing signs of wear and tear and one of ours was so sunken it had to be replaced immediately. The other wasn’t great when sat upon but by then we just wanted to get on with it. We had a little conversation about trying to get both beds in the shade. They are all set up either side of the umbrella so automatically one bed has no shade, and after a sort wait one of the beach guys drilled a new hole, we manoeuvred the beds into shade and finally sat down to relax. However, it was short lived as the people next to us had not arrived so three of the beach staff sat down on their beds to chat away. Anything but peaceful. The beach is fantastic, the water was perfect and we enjoyed our day. To be fair, they were helpful in getting a taxi back to the ship. We’ve had some great beach experiences on this cruise which have been so much better. There is a lot of choice along the beach at Carlisle Bay and on current form, I don’t think we would recommend Harbour Lights to friends who will be calling in Barbados on a forthcoming cruise.

  This is our go to place in Barbados! Friendly attentive staff. Beautiful location. Crystal clear water and soft white sand. Restrooms, showers, restaurant, bar. Water activities available for an extra charge. We always book ahead and have a chair already reserved in our name. We already have December booked for our next cruise.
