We booked the tour with the train ride into Watford from London, then a short tour bus ride into the studio. 100% recommend this tour. For Harry Potter fans, it's a MUST. But, if you're not that into the movies, there's still plenty of movie magic to see! Lots of insights into animatronics, scaled miniatures, movie tricks and more. But for the true Harry Potter fans: Adults, kids and anyone in between - this place is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that you'll remember forever. We're from Florida and have enjoyed Universal Studios versions of Harry Potter (and the associated rides) for years... this is altogether different. The most glaring difference is that a lot of filming took place here and you will be up close with props and set pieces. Get the guided tour. No rides to speak of, but you can still easily waste a day walking through the studio, taking pictures and enjoying the shops! Not to be missed!!!

Brilliant experience! Cannot fault the accessibility supports either. You can see it in a day but I could have been there all week and still want more.

We had such a good time at the studios, the sets were amazing. The special effects department was so interesting. I would recommend this tour to everyone who likes HP.

Great family day trip, took about 1 hour by bus to get there. Our boys (age 10 and 13) enjoyed it as well. Recommend going early to be one of the first groups in to avoid huge crowds. It is VERY expensive but would still Recommend.

The booking and transport went like clockwork, and the Harry Potter tour experience was fantastic. To see what went into the movies the craftsmanship and creativity displayed in one place amazing. Would highly recommend the tour.

We had a great tour with Ben P. He was so knowledgeable and patient as we had a 5 year old with us! The tour was amazing and fun. Thank you, Ben!

This tour really does take at least three hours to complete. It was so well worth it! You learn so much about the work that went into making the films

If you’re interested in the stories behind everything on display, you can read the descriptions on the boards and screens throughout the studio. However, it gets crowded and sometimes you just don't want to read it all so it’s definitely worth taking the audio guide at the entrance. Just to note, this isn’t a guided tour, it includes transport to the studio and entry tickets, so the audio guide really helps bring everything to life. Also, we had a great driver, she was funny and made the ride even more enjoyable.
