Give yourself at least 4-5 hours to complete the studio tour. We had enough time and really enjoyed the tour.

Me and my partner had a wonderful time. I visited approximately 10 years ago and there was so many new things to see an experience. Constantly getting better every time. My partner loved it.

The studio tour itself was excellent. The bus company/ tour organizers however were mediocre. It was not clear where we would be boarding the bus (platform 19) and I didn’t see any signage. The bus driver didn’t know how to operate the air conditioning and the wifi didn’t work. I would recommend the studio tour with a different operator.

If you love Harry Potter, this place is fantastic. Seeing the original sets up close and the sheer craft that went into every prop and costume is amazing, with tons of great photo opportunities throughout. Highlights for me included the outdoor area—especially the Dursleys’ house—and the Gringotts Bank set, which was stunning. The staff were lovely across the board: friendly, polite, and clearly passionate. One team member, even putting on special gloves, carefully showed us goblin gloves and explained how they were made. They may even have been worn by Warwick Davis—which was such a cool behind-the-scenes touch. Food areas were very good, with enough choice and seating to have a rest. Overall, it was a fantastic day out and felt really well run. The free shuttle bus was an added bonus also from Watford junction to the door of the Studio. The security and disability support was great. The only thing I felt was missing was a small ride at the end—something along the line of Madame Tussauds taxi ride, the London Dungeons, or Shrek’s Adventure. There are so many fun possibilities: a short broomstick flight, a ride in the Flying Ford Anglia, or little carriages like the Hogwarts Express showing different scenes—similar to Disney rides or the Wallace & Gromit ride in Blackpool. Adding a brief, family-friendly ride would be the cherry on top of an already brilliant experience

Fantastic tour to go on. If you loved the films and are interested in seeing how they were made then I can’t recommend this tour more.
