To start, our Tour Guide (Paul) was exceptional with his energy and enthusiasm throughout the tour. The insight and knowledge he had on our subject was also top tier and very easy to engage with. His constant awareness of maintaining our safety as well as not impeding the general public (for example when crossing the road, the uneven surfaces, passing pedestrians etc) was a lovely indication of the genuine care he had for us, not only as a Tour Guide but as a person. In which, this engaged us more with not only Paul but the Tour itself, and as a Harry Potter fan it definitely raised the positive experience we had. The length of the visit was also well timed, as we had plenty of team at each destination and allowed for us to stop and have a talk/questions which made the atmosphere a much more enjoyable atmosphere to be in. I will say the overall admission fee /price was a little steep, but that is overlooked based on the experience we had.

We had a wonderful tour with Benjamin! He was so knowledgeable and gave the group a good variety of historical facts and fun comedic banter. He got to know the members of the tour (it was several different groups of friends/couples) and made an effort to involve everyone for a cohesive experience throughout the city. He was so energetic and enthusiastic, he made us feel really welcome and like we were getting a personalized experience. 100% recommend if you’re remotely a fan of the Harry Potter series and/or want a more close and personal insight into the streets of Edinburgh. Also, the Camera Obscura and house of illusions was an awesome way to spend a few hours inside after wandering the city streets - if you’re into optical illusions and perception mind games it’s definitely worth a visit!

Benjamin was quirky and delightful. We enjoyed his sparkling sense of humour and his knowledge of Harry Potter and JK Rowling facts was immense. Camera Obscura and World of illusion was great especially for kids.
