Our tour guide Davis was excellent. My 14 yr old daughter and I were the only ones who booked this experience. Instead of canceling, he went out of his way to make sure we had a great time. We went way up to Hatcher Pass, the views were incredible. The actual Pass was closed for the season, so we did some other exploring on the mountain. After we came back to Anchorage he went out of his way to take us to a spot were we could see Denali in the distance! It was a super clear day, it was excellent. We had a great time thanks to him, I'm so glad he didn't cancel on us.

Decisions made by Davis, our driver, made the trip a great experience given that the day started off rainy. Hatcher Pass was lovely even if we had to catch the views between the clouds rolling by. The guide at the reindeer farm knew each of the animals well and was very informative. Overall a great day.

Our guide said few people take this tour. We are so glad we made time for it. The reindeer farm is interesting, but the real highlight is the views. Most day trips out of Anchorage go around Turnagain Arm. This tour goes north, offering a completely different experience. We saw stunning tundra and mountains instead of rainforest and coastline. Our guide clearly knows and loves the area. This was one of our favorite days. Don't miss the chance to see a beautiful and fascinating part of Alaska.

Good amount of destinations. Could of been more informative. My wife and I would of like to have been informed a little more about Alaska History, landmarks, culture, weather, including Alaskan Native inhabitants. Food was good, drinks - need variety and a few options.

Stephanie was our tour guide. She picked us up promptly at our hotel in Anchorage and gave us great information as we went to various stops on our tour. We stopped at a lake (maybe?Butte Lake? and a Reindeer Farm where we were able to approach farm animals and some reindeer up close and touch them; we also could view wilder animals behind fences and view them on a wagon ride. We had lunch at a popular venue, and then journeyed on to Hatcher Pass where we were able to walk a short distance to view (in the distance) abandoned mining areas. Afterwards we had a relaxing return to Anchorage while Stephanie continued to give us interesting facts. Altogether enjoyable!

Really enjoyed this tour. Welcome Anchorage Tours customer service is excellent and were amazing when I had to change my pick up address at the last minute. Elizabeth, our guide, was great and very accommodating. I really enjoyed the reindeer farm and would definitely recommend.

This is a must do tour. We enjoyed breathtaking views at every turn, and various types of wildlife. Our van was extremely comfortable and water and snacks provided. Don was our tour guide and he was fabulous, he made our trip very special, so personable, fun and knowledgeable of the area and the history. This was a family trip with my dad who is almost 87. Don took extra care to make sure he enjoyed everything about this trip. Before the end of our tour I can honestly say we felt more like family than clients. This company and their staff are amazing and want to be sure their clients have the best experience possible. Truly a trip of a lifetime. Many thanks to them for the extraordinary service they provide. I highly recommend this company and their tours.

We had a great day that was everything that was promised and more. Our driver was Brooks, but we also had Ian and Stephanie with us. They are a fantastic team. All are native or long time Alaskans and their love and pride in their state is evident. They are very knowledgeable and we appreciated their personal insight and experiences. They were very flexible on time, we didn’t ever feel rushed and even made fun stops for ice cream, photo ops etc. It was like having personal tour guides. The ride up Hatcher Pass was gorgeous and the mine tour was very interesting. The van was clean and well maintained and they offered snacks and water. I would highly recommend this tour and the team.
