What To Expect

Old South Carriage Company

Our stable is where your tour experience will begin and end. After checking in you can say hi to our draft horses, watch an educational video, purchases a bottle of water, or use our restroom. As you board your carriage via our inclined ramp / easy loading platform, your certified tour guide will greet you.This 40 minute after-dark tour covers more than 15 eerie blocks of Charleston's old walled city.

Extremely informative and entertaining. Jeff our tour guide was absolutely excellent and a pro carriage driver and Mack our horse was amazing. The two connected well! The carriage house was extremely well maintained, organized and run. The horses appeared to well taken care of and not unhappy. We only wish that the tour was longer and SCARIER 😱👻😧👿👹👺🎃🫣

Holly (guide) and Liam (horse) were wonderful and made the tour fun! Holly has a great personality and kept us informed the entire tour. This is a great way to see and explore some of the historic sights of Charleston, I highly recommend!

Fun trip in a carriage—Austin and Kasey did a great job. I wish it could have been longer—only 40 minutes—and that we could have seen more, but the stories we heard were good and well told.
