What To Expect
Old South Carriage Company
Our stable is where your tour experience will begin and end. After checking in you can say hi to our draft horses, watch an educational video, purchases a bottle of water, or use our restroom. As you board your carriage via our inclined ramp / easy loading platform, your certified tour guide will greet you.This 40 minute after-dark tour covers more than 15 eerie blocks of Charleston's old walled city.

5.00This was definitely a standout experience on our trip to Charleston. We had a great time with Miles (the guide) and Brian (the horse). The ghost stories were really fun, and it was a nice little tour around the city. Miles is a great storyteller, and Brian was a very good boy. We loved it and will absolutely do it again next time we’re in town.

5.00I give the tour a 5 but the choice of other guests to bring a toddler to a 9 pm haunted tour a 1. Our tour guide was great. Unfortunately we had a screaming child on board with a family for a 9 pm haunted tour which was not expected. I would recommend children under 5 not attend after 9 pm. It is too small of a space for a screaming toddler when other guests are trying to listen to the history and tour provided by the guide and there is no where to go. This made the guides job much harder, having to repeat herself, speak loudly and despite this she did a fantastic job and was a class act. Mac our lead horse made sure we got around the streets of Charleston safely! Well done Mac!

5.00Our guide and Clifford (our beautiful horse guide- Happy Birthday Clifford!) were wonderful! The ride was smooth and pleasant. The history and the great haunted facts were fun, engaging, and made this ride a great way to end our visit to Charleston! My daughter (11) and her friend (10) really enjoyed the whole experience.
