5.00Having gone on 15+ ghost tours across the country over the past 25 years, I can say I have never had a better guide than Carolyn! Nine family members joined us and had the best time with her! She is engaging, knowledgeable on history of the area, tells great stories, and had us laughing from beginning to end! We will recommend her to everybody we know!

He was extremely funny and we appreciated his providing the factual historical context that eventually turned into the ghost stories of the city. He also went out of his way to talk to us and give us great local recommendations for food and restaurants throughout the city. Highly highly recommend.

1.00I took a similar tour back in 2022 and absolutely loved it, so I was excited to bring my significant other so they could have the same great experience. Unfortunately, this tour was nothing like the first one. Right away, I was put off when DJ started talking about how a millionaire once tipped him only $20. He kept repeating the story in an effort to get a “tip like a millionaire,” which felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. At one point, he mentioned that most tours “don’t know their information and make stuff up.” Ironically, halfway through, he proved his own point, much of the information he shared was incorrect, and after that it was hard to trust anything he said. One stop on the tour was a strange room with a long table that served no clear purpose. It felt like a complete waste of time. And when we reached the final pub, he rushed through his ending and then left abruptly, which came across as rude and unprofessional. Honestly, the best part of the entire experience was that our group bonded afterward over how disappointing the tour was. DJ spoke so quickly it was hard to keep up, and several of us felt like something was off. It’s a real shame my first tour in 2022 was fantastic, and I hyped this one up only to be let down. Save your money.

2.00Our tour guide arrived late and genuinely seemed to hate our tour group. He delivered most stories with an eye roll and shared how his boss forced him to include some stops. The guide also managed to offend the whole group in different scenarios and shared many stories about his recreational use of mushrooms. He also spoke negatively about all tourist experiences mentioned by the group. Despite being on a ghost tour, we received very little paranormal content; the stories delivered were too fast paced to follow. Other tour attendees even asked us afterwards if we understood most of the stories. The bars we visited were great, though the overall experience fell flat.
