Quite a bit of walking, some uphill & downhill walk on gravel paths. Overall nice tour, lots of scenery.

It was a nice trip overall with a very fun and attentive guide in Raymond, but I do feel that too much time was dedicated to the Rapperswil section of the trip that really ate in to Heidendorf and Liechtenstein which both felt quite rushed

It was a great day, be sure to pack water! It was hot in some places. We had an outstanding and very helpful guide, Raymond and a truly excellent driver, Mark! Although it was Liechtenstein we wanted to see, we really enjoyed Rapperswil!

The "what to expect" says that the vehicle is air conditioned - that is a very generous description of the double decker bus that we had. It was air conditioned only in the sense that there were vents - which did not blow air for the first part of the tour and then took over 15 minutes to re-cool after every subsequent stop, and even then it only got to a slightly more bearable temperature on board. The stop in rapperswil was beautiful and nicely timed, but not having known anything about Heidiland before the tour, this stop was a letdown and a substantial amount of time (in comparison to the full tour) was spent on something that cost additional money and was super touristy. However, it is clear in the tour explanation that this stop is included so that's on me for not doing better research. The tour guide is really making quite a lot of effort on this tour, however the tour being given by the same guide in both English and Spanish means that he is having to talk so fast that it is hard to follow what he is saying. It should have been clear in the tour explanation what language would be spoken on the tour. I booked this tour for Liechtenstein (because it is cheaper than trying to take the trains yourself from Zurich), but Liechtenstein is definitely an afterthought. Had I know about the poor air conditioning on the bus, had a better understanding of Heidiland, and knew that the tour would be given in English and Spanish, I would have paid the additional money for the train tickets into Liechtenstein and done that country on our own (even though that would have meant missing out on Rapperswil, which I am very glad was included).

The main purpose of this tour was the Heidi tour. They didn’t allow enough time to visit the Heidi house as we were rushed to get back to the bus. How we, they spent over an hour in the country of Liechtenstein and we sat around for 20 minutes doing nothing. I would seriously move 15 minutes from Liechtenstein and move that to the Heidi tour. We felt like we only got half of our monies worth.

The tour itself was decent overall and reasonably good value. I originally chose it because it worked out cheaper than organising train travel to and from Liechtenstein myself. The guide was clearly very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information throughout the day. At times though, I did find parts of the commentary a little hard to stay engaged with — although that may partly be on me, as I didn’t really know much about Heidiland before booking the tour haha

Had a great experience on the Liechtenstein and Headland tour. The guide was very informative throughout, sharing lots of interesting history and facts along the way. It’s a lot of driving, but absolutely worth it for the views and overall experience. Highly recommended!

We had a fun tour and Raymond was an excellent tour guide. He spoke in English and Spanish to accommodate all those on the bus.
