Seward Helicopters is the oldest operating Helicopter company is Seward. We know the Seward area and Godwin Glacier better than anyone else. We are locally owned and operated by long time residents of the Seward community. This small family business flys out of Seward exclusively so we make it our priority to experts in flying around this beautiful Alaskan coast.
Experience the beauty of winter during the summer on this helicopter and sledding tour. Helicopter into a professional dog camp on top of the Godwin Glacier and meet great athletes, the Alaskan huskies and mushers while learning the ins and outs of Alaska’s state sport. If you can afford this breathtaking opportunity, seize it. Everyone on the staff — shuttle driver, desk agent, pilot, musher, and sled dogs — was genuinely friendly, helpful and professional. And the incomprehensible beauty atop the glacier —the senses scarce could take it in.

An unforgettable experience sailing along a glacier behind a team of energetic dogs. I’ve been fascinated with the Iditarod so this was a dream come true. One of the owners came in second place in the most recent race. My travel partners thank me profusely for suggesting.

Due to the bad weather, our sledding trip with the dogs could not take place. There was no problem getting our money back, but we ended up choosing zen helicopter flight through the bays and it was sublime!
