Putting the mud on was fun and the pools were relaxing. Expect to be smelling of sulphur for a day or so after

Totally professional staff, clean and most importantly it feels secluded even with others around the baths We were told over social media sites, smell was horrible, wouldn't leave our skin for days. This must turn people away .The smell is sulfur, but you wash immediately. Our group had no such experiences & so happy we went anyway.Awesome .

It’s true that your silver jewelry will tarnish. We only waited the minimum 24 hrs and our jewelry tarnished. We should have waited 48 hrs or longer as recommended. The baths were GREAT and the 20 minute’s allotted for the mud bath was sufficient, especially with the unlimited use of the hot tubs. Our guided tour of the hot springs with “Evee” was amazing. She is fun, very knowledgeable and open to questions. She also shared a lot of Māori culture with us. (Try to get Eve’s tour if you can!)

Be prepared for your swimmers to really smell of sulphur for weeks after using them in the mud bath. Also the sulphur smell lingers in your skin for several showers and several days. But I highly recommend it as an experience.

First class. Loved the surroundings, the staff and the treatments we had. The five geo thermal baths were an excellent way to spend a couple of hours in as we paid for the Deluxe Package. High recommend this spa.
