In the mid 90’s, in an apartment high above the energy and grit of Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood, 17-year-old Ali squints toward the horizon until she can just see the Hudson River. Despite the warnings of her protective mother, the symphony of the street calls to her—promising freedom, excitement, and the possibility of love. When a wise piano teacher helps her discover her voice, Ali learns she can make the city her own. She finds herself. Directed by four-time Tony Award® nominee Michael Greif, with choreography by Tony Award nominee Camille A. Brown, a book by Pulitzer Prize finalist Kristoffer Diaz, and featuring Keys’ new original songs and iconic anthems--in a story inspired by her own NY experience.

3.00There are many things to like about Hell's Kitchen. Alicia Keys' music is the key reason to see the show, and it is fun to see how the songs are reimagined for the musical. But I was also excited that Manhattan Plaza is so prominently featured. Iv'e known this building practically my whole life. The choreography and dancers were another highlight, as were the performances of Jessica Vosk and Christopher Jackson.

4.00Great show. Slow in the beginning, and seats were ok, not the best. Roof dip In Mezzanine that blocks some of the scenes. Great story and cast. Technically the diction of some of the songs was not great, especially Ally and her bf. Mother was phenomenal!

The music of Alicia Keys mixed into the story was genius. Every performer gave it all, and the cast was just phenomenal. 5.00I finally got to see Hell’s Kitchen last night, and wow - this cast is unreal. Every performer is electric, with voices and energy that completely fill the theater. There were moments that made me laugh, moments that broke my heart, and by the end I was in tears. The show is powerful, moving, and full of soul - a true celebration of music, community, and resilience. It brought the house down and left me completely inspired. If you love Broadway, this one is absolutely not to be missed.
