I have visited a lot places and been on many tours. I truly think this is the best tour I have ever been on. So much better than a large bus tour. We feel so fortunate to have experienced this tour and to have had such a remarkable tour guide. Gregor has such a great knowledge and passion for his city. I enjoyed every minute and didn’t want the day to end. Our first stop was to a beautiful cemetery where we saw the resting place and learned the history of the Larnach family. This weaved perfectly with our visit to the Larnach Castle later in the day. Lunch at was at a restaurant off the tourist path called Luna. The food was delicious and the view was spectacular. Gregor called in our orders and our lunch was ready for us when we arrived. Gregor shared so much information and many great stories with such good humour. If you are coming to Dunedin book this tour.

Gregor was AMAZING! It was our first time in Dunedin and he made it all the more special and memorable. His vast knowledge of the history of Dunedin and New Zealand is unmatched and always has answers to all your questions about Dunedin or NZ. Dont let this distract you from all the cool and intriguing stories he tells along the way!! Thank you Gregor! We hope to be back next time around. All the best!

Gregor was a fabulous guide on this city and castle tour. He met us in the terminal building and led our group of 8 to his van which was fully stocked with local historical literature as well as plenty of water. He took us to a cemetery and showed us some of the gravesites of local citizens, including the Larnach family. We had lunch in a beautiful restaurant perched on the edge of a cliff, overlooking the city. We then went to Larnach Castle where he narrated our own personal tour. He was knowledgeable, friendly, personable, and fascinating to listen to. You won't regret going on one of Gregor's tours!

Wonderful day with Gregor. Knowledgeable about all of New Zealand. I purposely looked for someone with a historical back ground and we were delighted with our guide. This was my dad’s bucket list trip and well let’s just say he had a life time list of questions. He kindly answered all of them and we enjoyed our time on the trip. Best guide of the whole cruise ship experience in New Zealand. Best regards, Stephanie
