Falaknuma Palace – The Jewel of Hyderabad’s Skyline

Perched majestically 2,000 feet above the City of Pearls, Falaknuma Palace is a celestial marvel that seems to touch the sky, spread over 32 acres of sheer opulence. Built in 1894, this architectural masterpiece is a symphony of grandeur, intricate stucco work, and timeless elegance, offering a journey through the golden era of the Nizams.

Step into a world where history whispers through the marble corridors and rosewood parquet floors, retracing the footsteps of Nizams, European royalty, eminent Begums, and Heads of State. Every ornate archway and chandelier-lit hall echoes the tales of an era where royalty reigned supreme, and luxury knew no bounds.

The Grand Heritage Walk immerses you in this bygone splendor, culminating in an exquisite Hi-Tea experience fit for kings. Indulge in the signature Nizam’s Masala Hi-Tea or a classic English Hi-Tea, served in the breathtaking settings of Celeste, Gol Bungalow, or the Jade Terrace

If you are visiting Hyderabad, Faluknuma Palace is a must see not only for its grandeur but also to enjoy the Afternoon tea in one of its restaurants. The service is impeccable and so is the food. I made the booking thru the Travel Agency Hyderabad Garuda Tourism, even though I didn't had much interaction with them but they ensured that it was a smooth process to visit the Faluknuma Palace as there are multiple checks before you are allowed to enter the hotel. Credit to Hyderabad Garuda Tourism for ensuring everything goes right.

The Heritage Walk and Hi Tea experience at the Taj Falaknuma Palace is a must do when visiting Hyderabad. The arrangements made by the agent to pick us up and finally drop us back at our residence went smoothly. The staff and guide at the Taj Falaknuma were friendly and helpful throughout out our visit.

The palace was a very beautiful place with lovely gardens
The HiTea was a good experience too
However i had to pay for the HiTea even though i had paid all the charges at the time of booking.booking charges included HiTea also.
The same night i informed the local travel agent who then had a word with the Hotel staff and refunded the payment.
    This shouldnt have happened.
I have always taken Viator tours in USA, UK and France and all were lovely experiences.
I am from India and unfortunately over here this goofup occured.
The local travel agent was very co-operative.
Unfortunately i was not happy with the Taj Falaknuma Palace staff who dealt with this issue
