The Hidden History Pub Crawl is a tour through Annapolis' scandalous past. Sip on a beverage while entertained by stories of historical conspiracies, murder, riots and forgotten tales as your guide brings to life the city’s juiciest stories. With different stories every night, this is the most intriguing experience for Annapolis twisted history.

The Hidden History Pub Crawl is a 2-hour Pub Crawl tour (approx. 1/2 mile) into some of the storied taverns of Annapolis.

Spending about 20-30 minutes at each location, you'll relax with a cocktail while learning some of our most interesting and colorful history through the tales of our taverns.

We will visit three bars on each crawl - locations visited may include some of the following:

Middleton Tavern

Rams Head Tavern

Federal House

Dock Street Bar & Grill

Drummer's Lot at the Maryland Inn

Harry Brownes

Galway Bay

Drinks are not included in this!

This tour is limited to Adults (21+) ONLY! No children.

Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair. However, many guests in wheelchairs have been more than capable of traversing the route. Please call before booking to discuss!

What To Expect

Annapolis Historic District

You'll stay in each bar approximately 30 minutes. You will be given ample time to purchase your choice of beverage before the guide launches into their stories. Upon completion of said tales, the guide will provide you with a 5-minute warning to finish your beverages, use the bathroom, etc. Then on to the next stop... You will visit three bars on each crawl - locations visited may include some of the following: • Middleton Tavern • Rams Head Tavern • Federal House Bar & Grille • Annapolis Market House • O'Briens Tavern • Dock Street Bar & Grill • Drummer's Lot at the Maryland Inn • Harry Brownes • Galway Bay (formerly The Little Campus Inn) Drinks are not included in this tour. This tour is limited to Adults (21+) ONLY! No children. You will be spending most of your time inside sometimes noisy & crowded pubs. Come ready to have some adult fun!

The Baltimore Tours and Crawls started in the much older city of Annapolis, so these folks really know what they are doing. They offer an assortment of entertaining and informative tours around the Fells Point area of Baltimore: Walking Ghost Tour, Haunted Pub Crawl, Twisted History Tour, Bootleggers & Rum Runners Tour, and their very popular Sports Legends Tour. They cover all the bases -- history, ghosts, sports, and general twisted mayhem. The tours leave from the historic Admiral Fells Inn (great food!) at 8 PM, and take about 90 minutes. If you aren't driving, the Pub Crawl is endlessly fun and amusing. The guides are extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. They were awarded the Winner of "Best Downtown Tour" of 2012, 2013 & 2014 in Fells Point! And you can even bring your dog if it is leashed and friendly.
