During our hiking routes you have the opportunity to explore one of the most famous and breathtaking locations in Greece and UNESCO World Heritage monuments, Meteora!!. On top of these gigantic rocks there are monasteries of great history with their origins trailing back to the 14th century.
FLY
Experience the most breath – taking activity by enjoying the beautiful landscape of Meteora’s Rock forest, a Unesco World Heritage Monument from above, in a unique way. Feel the adrenaline of a motorized powered paragliding flight, sitting on a powered paratrike vehicle, driven by a certified pilot. You will take off and ascend above the Rock Forest and the land below, seeing the rocks and monasteries, as you feel freedom, with the breeze in your face as you cruise from above!

What To Expect
The Program Hiking Time -9:00 Meeting, Briefing & Hiking Start The hike begins from the the Monastery of Saint Nicolas. Then crosses through the immense rock formations to reach the northern side of Meteora. Over that side, we will reach the hidden monastery. Afterward, you will visit the monasteries of Great Meteoron or Varlaam and finally you’ll walk down the old footpath that passes from the magical and mysterious Dragon Cave. -13:00 End of Hiking Tour Flying Time -17:00 - 19:00 Meeting at the Take off - Landing spot *the exact time will be arranged depending the weather, the group size and the sunset time **Flights duration : 15-20' per person After we set agree the meeting time and the means of tranportation we gather at the take off field. After a short briefing, you are ready to fly. Put your seatbelt on and prepare for take off!! Experience the most breath – taking activity by enjoying the beautiful landscape of Meteora’s Rock forest, a Unesco World Heritage Monument. 19:00-21:00 End of flight experience & fairwell

5.00Absolutely amazing experiences above the Meteors! The paragliding and paramotor flight were unforgettable. We caught plenty of eyes from beginning to end, the landscapes are breathtaking. Lefteris was on top: very professional, reassuring and always smiling, which made the adventure even more enjoyable. 5.00We booked the flight the day before and it all went on time. The transfer to the take-off point was coordinated and the equipment looked new. My pilot was very experienced and knew exactly where to take me for the best shots. The flight was smooth and the landing even better. Bonus: The videos from GoPro that they gave us at the end are the best reminder."

5.00I was in Meteora for 2 days and found an ad for Fly Meteora after I arrived. I reached out to see if a flight would be possible and he was able to make it work. The weather was raining, but it let up enough that we were able to do a 30 min flight. Flying over the mountains and monasteries was incredible. Due to weather and time constraints we did the motorized tandem paragliding. I will return and do another flight.

5.00Lefteri and his friend Nikos were very knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. They paramotoring experience was amazing. We flew around the monasteries and above Kalabaka. It was completely safe, and we recorded some amazing footage with the GoPro. Throughly recommend this.

5.00I booked this activity to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and it turned out to be one of the most unforgettable experiences we’ve ever had. We joined Efteri, his son Zack, and their adorable dog Atlas — such a lovely family. We started with a hike along a scenic trail that led us to a first monastery in Meteora. Afterwards, Efteri gave us the choice: either continue to a second monastery at our own pace or go straight for the flight. We chose to head directly for the flight. From the very beginning, we could feel how passionate and experienced Efteri is. He is extremely professional, careful about safety, and very attentive throughout the hike. We ended up spending almost six hours with him — between the hike and the flight — and it was absolutely worth it. The flight itself was breathtaking. Efteri is warm, cheerful, and reassuring, which makes it perfect if you’re feeling nervous. If you’ve flown before, it will still blow your mind. And if it’s your very first time, like it was for me, you couldn’t dream of a better introduction. At the end of the activity, we took some time to recover from the emotions and had a long, friendly conversation with him and his 13-year-old son. He shared amazing anecdotes from his life, which made the whole experience even more special. It was a wonderful encounter and an absolutely unforgettable adventure.
