Parque Nacional Volcan De Pacaya
Our accredited guide will meet you at the entrance to Pacaya Volcano National Park, where you will begin a guided hike through nature trails surrounded by vegetation and breathtaking views. During the ascent, you will appreciate the volcanic landscape, solidified lava flows and the view of other volcanoes such as Agua, Fuego and Acatenango. At a comfortable and safe pace, we will reach an area with geothermal activity where you can grill marshmallows on hot volcanic rocks and enjoy a well-deserved rest with spectacular panoramic views. Your guide will also help you capture the best photos of the tour and share information about the history and geology of the volcano. 5.00We had a great day with Alfonso doing the Pacaya volcano tour. Even with the streets closed for the semana santa procesión he parked nearby and walked to meet us at our hotel and then drop us off at the end. He was knowledgeable and patient when our half of the group lagged behind, making it a very enjoyable outing

5.00I haven’t been a frequent reviewer since 2019, but I’m writing this for my friend Lencho. Lencho has been one of the most attentive and interesting people I’ve met during my journey in Guatemala. Even though I initially had no expectations, his attentiveness and friendliness truly impressed me. Instead of simply introducing the place, he offered much more—sharing his own stories and telling me things only locals would know, such as why certain roads are constructed the way they are due to past corruption. He also gave excellent restaurant recommendations—trust him, and you’re guaranteed to have a great feast. These are insights you wouldn’t learn unless you were a local, and they added real depth to my understanding of Guatemalan life. Thank you, Lencho, for being such a great guide and for allowing me to see and understand Guatemala beyond the surface 😃

5.00My guide Juan Carlos arrived right on time for my pick up. One hour 20 min to parking lot from Antigua. Gathered our things and made our way to the top in about an hour. I found the hike very easy. Back down in 45 minutes and then back to Antigua. Juan was an excellent guide and I would recommend.
