We had a very great tour with Jostin, which is one of our highlights on our Costa Rica trip. He was very friendly and helpful. His knowledge of the plants, animals and also Costa Rica itself impressed us. He answered all our questions and told us a lot of exciting things. He also took pictures for us and sent them to us immediately. We are thrilled and highly recommend Jostin for a tour!!

We were going to go through our hotel for our Tenorio Volcano tour but Jostin had great reviews so we decided to go with him instead. Best decision ever! Jostin knew every species of plants and wildlife and took time to provide information on both. He was well prepared with a scope, camera, tripod, etc and spotted things we would never have found on our own. He spoke perfect English and made sure our experience was outstanding from start to finish! If considering a guide, choose Jostin. You will be glad you did!

Jostin was a pleasant, patient and knowledgeable guide. It was great to have him with us to point out different flora and fauna, provide information on each, explain the history of the area and Costa Rica, and answer all our questions. I highly recommend!

This was a beautiful hike through the rainforest to see the Rio Celeste waterfall. We had a private guided tour with Jostin who was very knowledgeable and great at identifying snakes and birds as well as plants along the way. We learned so much more than we would have done on our own. After the hike he took us to a lovely restaurant for a delicious well earned lunch!

We visited Tenorio National Park to do the Rio Celeste hike with Jostin. He collected us from our hotel slightly ahead of the agreed time in a very clean minivan and took us the short distance to the park. Jostin is super friendly and very informative about all the birds and other wildlife, as well as the local volcanoes and explained why to river is so blue! He took some photos on his high quality camera (which he sent to us later) and showed us birds through his spotter scope. He also took us to lunch as a local restaurant afterwards for a typical Costa Rican meal. We can highly recommend Rio Celeste Wildlife Tours for a professional, friendly and informative tour.

Jostin is really a great guide. Passionate about his profession and that will make you discover the secrets of the forest with its plants and animals. We went around 3 hours with him to see the celestial rio and we discovered monkeys, snakes, king fishers, spiders etc... In short a great tour with a great guide that we recommend 200%!

Justin, at Rio Celeste Wildlife Tours, was by far the best guide we’ve had in Costa Rica. He was incredibly knowledgeable - not just about wildlife, but the flora and fauna, birds and natural history. He could identify birds by their calls, and then immediately capture them for us on his tripod camera, and pull up details online. He knew fascinating facts about botany and could answer my endless queries. He was engaging, caring and utterly delightful. Furthermore, he shared all kinds of information about local sites, eateries, etc. , and shared all of his photos. If you are able to book him, you won’t be disappointed. The luncheon spot he took us to after the long hike into Rio Celeste was excellent as well- and we saw Toucans and tanagers up close while we were there! I’ll be referring Justin to friends.

We very much enjoyed this rainforest experience with our excellent guide Justin. We learned a lot about this fascinating ecosystem, enjoyed the waterfall, the blue lagoon and the confluence of the two rivers. A sighting of a sloth and an Eyelash Pit Viper were highlights. Recommend you set off early as we did as the path can get quite crowded. Definitely wear sensible shoes!

Had a really great tour with jostin!!! Even though the weather was raining he had such great energy, positive attitude and most of all we saw great wildlife! He made sure that we got good pictures and enjoyed our tour. He even took pictures with a professional camera of the wildlife that he sent us which came out amazing. Would 100% do this tour with him again and any other that he may give!
